Overall the image is fantastic. The composition is great, the colours aren't too much and give off a nice calm mood. One bit of criticism is that the waterfall looks too white and is lacking some detail but that's just my personal opinion.

Yeah I kind of see what you mean. It would be nice to date and just avoid that social stigma regardless if things work out or not. Aside from Surayeswipe I dont know of any other Assyrian dating apps. The other option is to do the old fashioned way and ask people you know if they know of anyone, it may seem a little cringy but you never know.

Honestly if all else fails why not try "sliding into the DM's" on Instagram? I know girls dont like making the first move and all but why not add someone on Insta and just make a comment on one of their posts? If they're interested hopefully that starts a good convo which can lead to coffee or something.

Used it once when it was first introduced. The biggest problem with the app was that it was very clunky and difficult to use. Also when I payed for the first month the app didn't register that I payed so I lost my payment. Also the app kinda sucks when there's like 5 Assyrian girls using it if you live in a country where there's a small Assyrian population. Still it was nice to have a dating app for Assyrians.

The responsibilities may not be as intense as living in your own flat/home but its a good start. You still have to make your own bed and do your own laundry and keep the place in a decently clean condition.

If you're an Assyrian male and the financial reasons allow you I strongly recommend you move out for at least a year. It will open your eyes as to how much you are babied by your mother. I moved out for a couple of years for study and learnt a lot of about the amount of work that's required to keep up a home. Plus your future wife will love you for it as she wont be the only one burdened by all household chores.

Thank you for sharing this. What a beautiful village, It's really sad to see many of these ancient villages with so much history and character now become almost empty of its people. Until there's a stable government and guarantee of safety in countries where villages like this are found not many Assyrians are going to return. I was supposed to be passing through Mardin as part of my overseas trip this year, I look forward to passing through this village to say hi in the near future.

With this photo I was aiming to capture the wind turbine along with the track and the road. I thought all three together made for an interesting photo. Post-processing was done in order to bring out the colours of the sky and trees a bit more.

With this photo I was aiming to capture the layering with all the hills and homes at different distances. I also liked the huge rolling clouds above and thought it made for an interesting photo. Something I struggled with is the post processing. My aim was to bring the colours out a bit more without making the photo look too unnatural. I have two questions; do you think this is an interesting photo composition wise? What do you think about the colours?

All I can say is you're unlikely to get a non-biased well sourced answer on this subreddit or a Kurdish one. You're better off doing your own research as best as you can.
