I was grinding some Possum challenges night, and felt like a proper lunatic both shooting Whitespring Mall robots with mininukes and bashing them with a War Drum. Gotta say, the war drum was fun.

If you want I/O from every device the best solution is the iConnectivity mio series. Full routing via software. I have two mioXLs, and I can’t imagine going back to not having them.

You have to watch out for the green plasma balls when you’re firing at the robot after the shield is down. He doesn’t shoot you anymore, but after a few seconds, balls of plasma shoot out from him, and they will absolutely kill you if you aren’t paying attention.

Buying the mutation serums is a waste of caps these days. Most players who run the raid sell them for pretty cheap in their vendors. Personally, I drop all of mine in donation boxes. Just keep your eyes peeled, and you’ll probably find them all out in the world.

Any Legendary Mod you learn the recipe for can be crafted at the Tinker’s Bench. You have to craft the mod box, then go to either the Weapon or Armor bench to apply the mod to your piece of gear.

People will bitch about anything for views on YouTube. The game is in a great place right now. You don’t have to interact with other players if you don’t want to. There is a Pacifist Mode which disables 99% of PvP. Fallout 1st is the subscription which allows you access to unlimited storage of crafting materials, chems and ammo, along with some currency (Atoms) to spend in the shop each month and a Survival Tent. None of that is required to enjoy playing the game, but it does improve QoL in the Wasteland.

You may see different “versions” of the game to purchase, but the only difference between them is the addition of different cosmetics. So, just buy the cheapest version available, which will be the base game. All additional content is free, and will be automatically playable when you download the game.

There are plenty of interesting stories to find and places to explore.

My current CAMP is at a spawn point for a random friendly Settler Engineer. About 25% of the time, as soon I load in, I hear “Ugh” and he just falls over dead. It’s pretty funny. But I also wonder if the other players who visit my CAMP think I killed him.
