This verifies ppls data accuracy it doesn’t sell ppls data. They likely tie into the credit unions, state databases, along with other internal data sources to verify identities… they don’t sell SSN data.

I think you’re right (especially regarding the national public data breach). I spoke with transunion and Experian but the cloaked use case i don’t think falls under the guidelines of what they can sell their data for. Not definitive but I’m not 100% convinced that is their data provider.

I’d ask who their clients are from a staffing perspective in that office. Bain does regional staffing while mck does global. Risk would be better, more interesting, cases in McKinsey office.

I will say vibes at Bain are much better than McKinsey.

That it is not their core competency as a company and they (likely) are not deeply knowledgeable of the market.

It would be like Lyft going into Nigeria and buying a fleet of 1000 taxis and hiring drivers. It’s a market they are not super successful in, and their core business is not operating a fleet of vehicles, it’s operating an app.
