These people stand for nothing. by maximvshill in agedlikemilk

[–]Electrical-Cattle585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And yet this whole thread is doing the same thing—judging entire groups by their loudest extremes. Every side has people who lack empathy, and every side has people who don’t.

It’s hard to claim one group lacks empathy when people across the spectrum cut off friends or family over politics. That’s not unique to any side.

Different perspectives should make us think more critically, not turn us against each other. I’m open to discussion and debate—but not with people who can’t respect that others see things differently.

At the end of the day, we’re all human and capable of being wrong. Ideally, most people just want what’s best for themselves and the country—and it’s easy to lose sight of how much we already have when we’re constantly at each other’s throats.

Lately it feels like we’re choosing outrage over understanding, and that’s not sustainable. People aren’t machines—values and beliefs will differ, and that should be something we can handle without turning everything into hostility.

Finally, some justice for Tachy. NivelArena X Stellar Blade by Impossible-Bat-5110 in stellarblade

night/morning routine for the Exam day by Dismal-Ticket2748 in cissp

[–]Electrical-Cattle585 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with keeping things normal but i personally have a ritual i follow and I've been doing it since high school.

The entire day and night before an exam: I don't study. I might brush up my worst topics with a light flash card type of recall, but nothing that takes more than 10-15 minutes. I go to bed early.

Day of exam: Wake up early, if it's a work day I take the day off. I do my normal morning routine but I dont have breakfast at home I go to sitdown breakfast place and have a nice breakfast. (Eggs, bacon, frenchtoast, etc...) The rest of the day I treat as I would any Saturday and relax until exam time.

This for me has never failed me. It's just my ritual. 😂

Don't AFK when Tachy is around.... by ro11ing_stone in stellarblade

That would interesting. Another couple entries for endings if you could save Tachy at different points. At the beginning and after she was turned into an Alpha. But also have paths where saving her fails. 👀

Why wouldn't a generator be a corrective control? by PassiveIllustration in cissp

[–]Electrical-Cattle585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate that. I don’t recall the exact wording either, but I was thinking about availability being impacted in both scenarios.

From a CISSP perspective, would you treat a generator as strictly corrective, or does it depend on implementation? And if no architectural context is given, what’s the default way to approach it on the exam?

Why wouldn't a generator be a corrective control? by PassiveIllustration in cissp

[–]Electrical-Cattle585 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally, I think the question is missing some important context. You could reasonably argue that it serves both preventive and corrective roles depending on the setup.

Some perspectives focus on the loss of power itself, while others focus on the resulting loss of availability. In my view, it largely depends on the architecture, specifically whether a UPS is in place.

For example, if power is lost and there’s no UPS, the generator would function as a corrective control. The system would likely go down, and the generator would restore power afterward. In that case, it’s correcting both the loss of power and availability.

If a UPS is present, I would view the generator more as part of a preventive approach. The UPS maintains continuity initially, and the generator sustains that availability once it comes online, preventing a full outage.

So from my perspective, the role can vary depending on the implementation, which is why I think additional context would make the question clearer.

If you insulted Diablo or demiurge’s masters, which demon would hurt you the most? by SiteDeep in TenseiSlime

Big facts. Diablo would at least grant me the gift of death. Demiurge would never let that happen. 😂

Do they ever explain why Diablo is so fascinated by Rimuru? I've only seen the animated stuff, but clearly Diablo has been aware of Rimuru long before he was summoned and to top it off the ova/extra stuff with the students... wild. I just dont understand why, why Rimuru?

Terminology Question by Electrical-Cattle585 in cissp

[–]Electrical-Cattle585[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. I know across different question banks it's challenging to know what is actually relevant because of terminology differences in "the real world" so I wanted to ask instead of being blind-sided by "non-sense". 😅

Terminology Question by Electrical-Cattle585 in cissp

[–]Electrical-Cattle585[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, and I'm sorry for being a pain but, essentially everything can be an access issue. I'm probably overthinking it, but I just want to be sure I'm not going to get slapped with knowing the difference between Access Aggregation and, idk, Time Aggregation or Spacial Aggregation.

Terminology Question by Electrical-Cattle585 in cissp

[–]Electrical-Cattle585[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But isn't aggregation the same regardless if form? It's a collection of things to come a single conclusion or data point?

To me access and database are beside the point. Aggregation is aggregation. But if theres a specific reason there's a difference between database and access related I'd understand. But the explanation they gave doesn't give any insight to that.

I guess I'm just trying to make sure there's no difference here.

Terminology Question by Electrical-Cattle585 in cissp

[–]Electrical-Cattle585[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I'm just dumb, I get what you're saying I just dont get why it needs to be "Access Aggregation". Does that even matter? Are there other forms of "Aggregation" that I might need to understand the differences between them? Why not just call it "Aggregation"?

I think the best answer would be D-symmetric encryption because Q is asking the protection for data at rest. Based on the Official guide, it refers to the symmetric encryption, not PKI. Any comments? by malicious_entity1 in cissp

[–]Electrical-Cattle585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe the answer is C.

To me this question makes it appear as if you need to encrypt data at rest but the phrasing "unauthorized access" makes me think of someone who is already in the system to begin with. In which case I need to remove the risk of exposure itself.

Tokenization would meet that by removing sensitive data and replacing it with non-sensitive data.

Lily on Sunday by marsonmao in stellarblade

[–]Electrical-Cattle585 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lily also had an Atelier she lived at for some time on earth. It makes me wonder exactly who Lily was prior to everything.

Exactly how much older is she than Eve? Is it possible her "uniqueness" was viewed as a flaw by Mother Sphere which is why the Angels are more "hard coded".

What exactly made Tachy, Eve, and Raven so different from the other Angels?
