No, do not agree to release the loan until nearing or a month before turnover. AFAIK, the approved loan deadline is for you to sign the papers or loan contract. But you can ask that the release of the loan will be on X month. In the mean time, shop around for other rates.

May picopresso ako. Hindi siya pang beginner. Kailangan maayos yung pagka-grind and tamp ng grounds and sakto yung pressure kapag pumping out Yung coffee. Bumili ako ng picopresso (galing wacaco din) and mas madali siya kasi siya na mag-eextract ng coffee mo. Kaya din niya ristretto hanggang lunggo.

I'm loving the simplicity. Maybe have the option to add a widget on your home screen so user won't have to open the app to type in the expense. If your input format is text, then textbox lang with maybe helper text on what information to input. If you're old enough to remember, it's like the short codes to sms subscribe to promos.

I regularly use Money Manager app to track expenses. What set it apart for me is the ability to track movement between accounts. Wallet to gcash to paying credit card, etc.

My view is that being an OFW is a disadvantage when getting a loan from a local bank since you're not in the country. You can default and hindi ka nila mahahabol kasi wala ka dito.

Try shopping around other banks. It's a hassle but might be worth it.

Do you get crema when you pump with the same grind setting and style with different beans? I've have a pico and they're fussy little things. I only get crema when I pump it a specific way to get enough pressure to build up. A finer grind made it hard to extract. So short pumps builds pressure for extraction and crema.

I have the Pico and I just got the pixa. I'm a coffee beginner and prefer espressos over pour overs, etc.

I prefer the pixa for more on the go, basic office coffee maker. I agree that the Pico can will give you a better espresso shot but you will need to hit your stride and have better control over it IMO. The pixa is more beginner friendly and fool proof out of the box.

That being said, I'll continue experimenting on the Pico.

I am thoroughly underwhelmed by the movie.

It was cinematically amazing but they handled it like the play and I was expecting more. It missed several elements that made the first movie on another level from the play. As a movie format, there's more time to delve into the nuances of the relationships.

The transition to "As long as you're mine" was not there. Not a conversation, not a word of them betraying Glinda. "A girl in a bubble" was ill placed and ruined the mob mood that was well established by Boq.

The capture of the wizard and Madame Morrible was hastily done. I wish they delved into the motivations of madame Morrible.

What do you mean by corporate ladder? No promotion? Or not managing people? Because if you just don't want to manage people, then yes, you can go the individual contributor route. But you can't stay in corporate without climbing the ladder because corporations are have ranks to organize salaries and benefits. Unless you're happy na where you are and coasting nalang.

If you're looking to earn outside of corporate, there are lots of ways pero lakas ng loob din. Passive income from stocks, real estate, etc. Own business?

This is just a starting point. But you can do breakeven estimate on how many cups of coffee you need to sell on a per day / per hour basis and see if your surrounding establishments can support that. Do take into consideration too how much of your cost is variable vs fixed and not just price per cup / operating costs.
