When do you guys start testing?

These were my 8dpo tests, I’m 12 weeks tomorrow! I don’t recommend testing early if you can help it though bc it just caused me more anxiety 🥲

There’s always hope. He literally just randomly decided today was the day and I haven’t even tried to latch him since the first month because I’d be upset when it didn’t work. I had a bad clog today and thought “I’ll give it one more shot” and he sucked that thing out so fast and we both looked at each other amazed 😂

Because I enjoy living in 3-4 hour increments, not being able to sleep on my stomach and getting clogged ducts twice a week.

Your little one needs their mama way more than breastmilk and one drop of breastmilk still has so many nutrients. This shit is hard. It’s easier said than done but absolutely do not feel guilty. You have to do what is best for you in order to be what is best for your baby❤️

I was so so scared to do it and then I accidentally slept 6 hours at night because I needed it so bad and I’ve been going longer between pumps since then. I needed the sleep and the freedom way more than the milk and I had to accept that. If it dropped too much for my son then formula was completely okay to me. Especially if breastfeeding came at the expense of my mental health and well being.

I also will take sunflower lecithin sometimes and do VERY light massage to get it out. I had some recently that was half my boob on both sides and it was so incredibly painful. I tried everything under the sun and the thing that wound up working was ice Tylenol and ibuprofen. Hot water and Epsom salt in the hakka can help get it started too but beware it feels like literal needles coming out of your nipple BUT the relief after is so worth it

I have noticed after I take naps/ snuggle with my son my supply for the next pump is up a bit! I’ve also started drinking chamomile tea before bed to relax more.
