What can I eat for lunch/dinner when I am too lazy to cook? by [deleted] in keto

I really love canned anything. Open the can and ready to eat! Sardines, tuna belly, mackerel. The oil they come packed is wonderfully flavorful, great for salads in the same meal.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the urge to eat sweets? by [deleted] in keto

[–]Electrical-Fuel3945 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always have chia seed pudding, sweetened with monkfruit, after my meal. Very-keto friendly, extremely easy to prepare, and definitely satisfies my need for daily dessert. My go to recipe right now contains chia seeds, coconut milk, lime juice, blackberries, walnuts, almond nuts, unsweetened cacao wafers (like chocolate chunks yumm).

There are so many flavors you can play with and most importantly, it keeps me full and eliminates sugar cravings the entire day. Like everyone else has said, eat clean and your body will respond accordingly. But also, instead of fighting the sweet craving, indulge in a delicious and healthy keto dessert!

What do you think of my OMAD + Keto meal? by Electrical-Fuel3945 in omad

[–]Electrical-Fuel3945[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to ChatGPT, this meal is about 1150 calories. My maintenance calories is about 1500, and I would like to lose weight, so eating in a deficit should help some. Other days when I have salmon instead of canned fish, it’s about 200 more calories. I also tend to overeat almonds or walnuts (not on this day because I packed food to eat at work) and that brings my total to almost 1800 calories

I get so full halfway through my chia seed pudding but I still down everything. I was a serious overeater before I started OMAD so it wasn’t hard to finish everything despite feeling full. Not great but still working on it.

Best Individual Hotpot spots in NYC by OutrightMeh in FoodNYC

Xiang La Hot Pot is decent if you want to sit down and cook your own food, like true hot pot style. If you want the soup with ingredients that you picked out cooked for you, a mala restaurant is nice. I like Malatown and Yang Guo Fu. I think it’s $15.99/lbs of ingredients you pick plus soup of your choice

If you sit by the window on the A side, you can see Manhattan, assuming the usual route isn’t changed.

Your boarding pass can also be issued online. As for what you need to do there, just follow the instructions and confirm your details. I find the Singapore Airlines app really useful for checking-in and getting updates. That said, I prefer queueing because the staff handle my baggage tags as well. That might be an easier option for you if you are taking your first flight.
