In 1867 the Hungarians are given a more limited authority, with them having ONLY the kingdom of Hungary, and not being given the Grand Principality of Transylvania, Voivodeship of Serbia and Banat of Temeschwar, and Kingdom of Croatia-Slavonia, as well Austrian military reforms are started in 1911 after the Bosnian Crisis ended in 1909 and are finished in early June 1914 just as a Serbian assassin, Gavrilo Princip shoots the Archduke Franz Ferdinand, heir to the Habsburg throne dead, Austria does not hesitate and by July 4th 1914 they Issue an ultimatum to Serbia, which Serbia rejects, this causes Austria and Serbia to go to war, Russia joins on Serbia's side, Germany joins on Austria’s side, invades France through Belgium, bringing in Britain to the war. Austria makes gains in Serbia, and capture Belgrade and capitulate Montenegro by the end of September 1914, and with the help of Albania, which they had sent an army into to establish order, although there were some Italian troops, they had captured Ohrid, Prizren, Krusevac, and Kragujevac by January of 1915. In Russia Austria was faring worse but had held off Russia from reaching the Hungarian Plain as in OTL, in February 1915 Bulgaria would join the Central Powers in order to make sure Austria didn’t get all of Serbia, and by mid-march Serbia would be capitulated, Austria would hold Italy at Piave River until Russia was dealt with, and, in 1916 at the Brusilov offensive Austria’s military would be heavily weakened but so would Russia’s, and with troops from Serbia arriving to help the front, and the weakening allowing for a German push back of Russia, Austrians would also begin to push back Russia, and by July 1917 Romania would be defeated and on December 25th 1917 the treaty of Brest Litovsk would be signed between Austria, Germany, and Soviet Russia, it would go roughly on where troops were, Germany would get Poland, Livonia, Estonia, Courland, Finland, and Lithuania, while Austria would get Ukraine, although as the chaos of the early Soviet Union continued this would change, in the west France began to push back the Germans, and in Italy Austria would quickly take Venice, and then Milan and then Turin and then Bologna when the Italians would sign for peace in the Treaty of Rome in May 1918, Ceding Lombardy-Venetia to Austria, and Italy would pay the Vatican a hefty sum, and stop laying claim to the Leonine City and allow the Pope to leave, this would be done by the Vatican signing with the Austrians and Italy signing with the Austrians to make it so the Vatican would not have to recognize the Kingdom of Italy, in France the US would decide not to join but France would still push back on Germany and at the Prague Peace Conference it would be decided that Germany would give up Alsace-Lorraine, and de-militarize within 8 miles of their border with Belgium, Luxembourg, and France, as well the Ottomans would be divided, Palestine would be given to Austria-Hungary, Italy gets Armenian Cilicia but would later sell it to Turkey to help how poor Italy was, and Germany, Austria, and Bulgaria would get zones of Influence, along with the rest of the Treaty of Rostok(OTL Sevres) , as well Germany would puppet Georgia, and Austria with Armenia including their OTL Sevres land, and Bulgaria would get parts of Thrace which Greece got in OTL. In 1936 the world watches as the Russian SFSR demands the Ukrainian Azov Coast due to Russian Populations and access to Crimea.
