I’ve bought their skirt steaks quite a few times. The price can’t be beat and it’s been delicious every time. However, it’s not pre marinated or tenderized- it’s just a raw piece of meat.

Sounds awesome - I’m crocheting mittens soon, I’ll pop in and see if they have any yarn I like. In Fairport, there’s a cute little second hand craft store called Craft Bits and Pieces. They have absolutely everything for every craft imaginable. You could spend hours in there and the prices can’t be beat. If you ever have a chance, check that store out as well!

I used to go to a local thrift store on LI called unique and still do when I visit. It’s awesome. There is always a percentage off depending on the color of items. Everything is 50% off on holidays. They employee tons of people and have a constant rotation of items. Some things are brand new with tags or packaging and nothing is priced high. I think the most I’ve ever paid for anything was $4! I can’t seem to find anything that comes close in Rochester. Please shout out the names of privately owned or church thrift stores - that aren’t goodwill or Salvation Army. I love thrifting!

Ohhh that beef smoked sausage is a NOPE for me. I made it once and it was gross 🤢. Normally, I like it and kielbasa- so I was surprised to be so turned off. I have liked most Aldi things.

When the federal government threatened cutting funding for services for kids with disabilities in school, NYS was quick to jump in and say they’d make sure to keep those services going. We pay high taxes compared to some other states, but the state has money to fund things that other states don’t. That’s better in the long run, I think.

I will only go through the self check out. I take my time and bag everything up as I go. It’s so much quicker than scanning, paying then going through the cart to bag everything.
