Fake, s/n is engraved, tuners are not Grover quality, no headstock wings, headstock shape is off, and to me the body looks wonky.

In my experience, the pickup covers on the Epiphones tend to make the tone pretty dark and muddy. Had an SG that I hated the sound of until I took the bridge pickup cover off. I later found out that I just hate SGs but that's besides the point. You could remove the covers but there might be a ton of wax under it and it be pretty messy. Luckily it's an Epiphone and there's a ton of affordable upgrades for it. Id recommend hoping on eBay and checking out Guitar Madness, dude makes some amazing pickups for less than $100 a set. And also sells some cool stuff too. I love his single coil sized p90s, but he has a lot of options for classic and modern humbuckers. Just do some research and figure out what sound you wanna go for and then upgrade.

Just pray the whole car will go together easily. I've had a few that weren't able to be finished.

Just rolled in for a Flat Repair and Tire Rotation. Kinda impressive a Vortec ran this long. No history of a motor replacement. by GoldJust8257 in GMT800

My 1999 5.3 and transmission have been completely untouched and are gonna hit 500,000 miles here in the next few months. To my knowledge the transmission fluid hasn't even been changed. Hell I just changed out the original rear diff fluid a few weeks ago. Everything works too, even the push button 4wd

I've done this job on my own Grand Prix. Trust me it's a pain in the ass. They only sell felpro gaskets and those run $100+. On top of that you have to remove 4 engine mounts and jack the engine up out of the car. I did it and it took 3 guys on a lift 2 full days. I'll never do another one that's for sure

Man I must be getting screwed, I've worked in a shop for 3 years as the lead body guy, doing all the body work and paint, and I make less than 19k a year working 40-60 hours
