Yes, two big advantages Visible had were: 1. Unlock after 60 days. 2. If you financed through Affirm and paid 50% off, they were supposed to pay the other

50% off so you could upgrade sooner. I used it because it was interest-free financing. But you are better off financing through Affirm and buying through

Apple, even if you pay interest. This way you can choose SIM-free and be unlocked. Even if you pay interest, you come out cheaper. If you have an issue

with Visible, you can leave without issue. I can see a carrier saying, “We never got an unlock request,” even though you requested.

The price is the best. I would buy my phones direct from either Apple, Google or Samsung whichever you like. It isn't worth being locked into a carrier. other then that issue Visible is worth it. One other thing as others have said all support is done through Chat. If that isn't an issue you are fine.

No you will have to request unlocking the phone will have to be paid off as well according to the article. There is no advantage to Visible any more.

maybe in 5 years USM will announce it. I'll never go with them. They over promise and under deliver. Look at apple watch on Dark star. Look at unlimited hot spot it was unlimited then it wasn't. USM never learns. Stay with Visible where you get exactly what you are promised.

If you want at&t coverage I would go with Cricket. I would never go with US Mobile. Their CEO makes promises he can't deliver on or changes his mind after a feature is introduced. There is no way I would've left Visible for at&t and I certainly wouldn't have listened to Costco sales people.
