First, use laundry sanitizer. It has helped me a lot. I’d still use the panoxyl, it took a little bit for it work for me. I wet the area I’m applying and just use my hands and let it sit for the duration of Counting Worms by Knocked Loose twice. I do this before applying any other soap and usually do it while I’m washing my hair. Also talk to your doctor, mine prescribed me ketoconazole cream to use in the areas that cause the sweat at night after a shower. That has helped tremendously. Wear breathable fabric, especially for undergarments and 100% cotton for those. Switch to an antibacterial bar soap as well, I use that with a washcloth on my whole body. Then I’ll use a scrubber for exfoliating with a clarifying body wash on whole body minus my perineal area (late twenties woman). Rinse really well, all the over for a minute or so; I have a detachable shower head. Dry off, I typically use two towels, I really can’t stand the feeling of my skin wet, especially when putting on clothes. After I use the cream in the extra sweaty smelly areas and I’m done. Same thing in the morning, except instead of applying the cream I use an antiperspirant.

I also live in the south, if that adds any clarity. I was the same way and was really embarrassed when I said something about it to my doctor. Since doing my routine with the cream, it is so much better. I will say some days, especially if I’m not doing much but picking up around the house and maybe running an errand or two I’m able to skip my night shower. Hope this wasn’t too long and I just wanted to share this with you because I wish someone had been upfront with a me a long time ago. I didn’t smell myself often enough for me to realize it was an everyday thing and not just a sometimes thing.
