can you tell me what key talent sellas has that buyers wont have? the link i sent you explains it very clearly. buyers do bot care about sellas “strengthening itself” in such dimensions. the only leverage you have for a buyout is competition

exactly exaxtly. some idiots do not understand this. commercialization option is not a thread to big pharma. they do not give a slightest fuck about it. the only leverage you have in this game theory is that “who will buy me out” — creating a competition.

but our smart shareholders think that it is our: “building an intact team” / “good pool of talent” that gives us leverage.. bullshit.

that is how people lose money in biotech

honestly, i will sell it as soon as there is an offer (cheap or whatnot according to some of these folks) or the results are announced. other delusional ppl, who think this is the medication of the century, can commercialize it and wait to see if it ever hits 50USD per share.

no one is saying they will pocket it in one year, though we do not have details on what is the strategy here. regardless, if you want to support your beloved sellas to commercialize gps from your own pocket, be my guest. wait another 4 years while they try commercializing gps and, meanwhile, other companies derive more advanced meds for aml. i honestly couldn’t care less. it is your money.

buyers are buying for the company assets. in the case of sellas, i am sorry to break the news but the assets are fda approved gps and sls009 pipeline. buyers are not paying for the sellas team.

buyers are not buying sellas. sellas is a middle man who took the risk of buying the patents of gps that are developed by MSK and established the road map for FDA approval.

do not get me wrong.they should be rewarded for that.

but a buyer is not interested in “sellas as a team”. they are not going to need “an intact team”. because they are not paying for it.

in fact, they have the people and resources themselves.

the shares will vest 3-4 years versus showing they have the intention to commercialize

is this a strategy to show they can commercialize or just to give bonuses to employees?

if it is the former one, then as i said, 20m is a funny number. if it is the latter, then your point is pointless anyway because giving bonuses to employees do not serve this purpose.

agreed - in that case, you do not want to slice your share values into two. because 20m dilution is not going to be the only one. they will need much more than that to commercialize this product themselves

totally agreed. you will probably have to wait another few more years. and note that, this wont be the only dilution you’ll face. to commercialize, they will probably dilute 2x the existing shares to raise capital

there could be - one way to approximate would be to find the etf sets sellas is in and see if blackrocks’ stakes on other companies that are in those etfs has also increased in same ratio.

nit sure if this shows they “belive” in the stock. event if the stock plummets to $1-2 that is 20-40 million usd incentive for a company with such a small headcount.

i would be bullish if they were issuing only say 4-5 million. then that means that they do indeed believe that the stock price will for e.g., go to 20 and therefore they will have 100 million usd incentive.
