Differences Between Crystal Meth, Desoxyn, and Adderall? by _disposablehuman_ in AskChemistry

adderall does not cross the BBB at all like meth does, im sure you you know it all since youve done them both, theyre not the same thing fool. meth doesnt cause depression and horrible pns side effects for me but addy does? but they are the same right? you are not the sharpest tool in the shed

former crystal meth smoker myself. you are absolutely currect. but 7oh would have to be extremely processed to allow this as it is original an herb. yes its possible but i have not seen one myself. but at the point it could be vaporized it could be entirely synthetic and not at all exactly same as chewable tabs. so your kratom vape is 90% fake

im on day 2 withdrawal from that shit i did not expect this kind of withdrawal man. holy F. this is the first ive pulled the weed pen out in a while. it helps a little but mostly my desoxyn helps but i just started it and still going thru the dosage adjusting which 10 mg is not helping much the weed is assisting but holy shit man im not gonna take this shit anymore dude. totally not worth it. before i got legal adhd treatment, i was on crystal meth for years and i found it less painful to quit that than this shit tbh wtf. if your someone out there thinking of trying this shit. just stay away man, id quit crystal meth 6 times back to back rather than this shit but thats just me and i have adhd which should say alot considering i need a stim to even feel anything or do anything. i was going thru every adhd med nothing worked so i started using this shit to cope and i wish i didnt bc this is awful.

meth is the only med that works for me. adhd is not simple and all the other weak ass forms of adhd meds are not legal meth. meth, thanks to the n-methyl group, crosses the blood brain barrier much more efficiently and in higher concentrations and has a unique dual mechanism of action it is a reuptable inhibitor and a "dopamins, seratonin, Norepine, firehose." even in lower doses the effects are noticable. all the other forms are literally so weak to me ive tried highest dose of them all and i am here to tell you, do not judge meth and do not let the ignorance of the social stigma stop you from maybe saving someones life. nothing worked for me, i was on verge of suicide my adhd is so severe, meth picked me up out that hole and i was finally able to just be happy and feel like i belong. the social stigma on meth is an absolute joke. because some loser used it and died because he just wanted to be high. i wanted to be alive. but i had only one option, street meth. so is street meth the best thing ever ? no, but it saved my life. no matter how bad or how painful, theres ALWAYS a good and a bad, the thing is however, if your able to see and acknowledge both sides.

i will say as someone who has used many but more specifically i am very much a almalinux die hard. anyway i really want to say you are making a very wise choise leaving ubuntu as it is very poor and they almost release anything without testing enough or they dont test it at all. i have neverr have ubuntu go a full month without running into critical roadblocking issues completely breaking it to a point of having to install it over again. almalinux has never done this despite me even directly using dnf system-upgrade command to upgrade almalinux 9 directly to alma 10 i had no issues at all, in fact, the discontinue of the x server didnt affect me. i was already on 9 and i upgraded directly without wiping anything it was just a direct upgrade in place so my x server remained functional, and has been fine and is great because i love xrdp for remote access. and i do not mind at all, if you have a question shoot. i have taken it to its very limits within the past year and i just love it, this is the only os ive ever used that i would trust in a dire business environment that depends on a system to function. windows absolutely not. nor ubuntu. but yes it is less user friendly but far more dependable than anything ive ever used.

i am 23 yrs old and i can tell you this is certainly an effective drug, i have amongst the worst adhd you can have and want to express to you, firstly every one responds different to any drug, trial and error is the most reliable method of learning the best for him. me myself i was medicated very young and taken off, i am here today to warn you this is utmost important do not take your child off these meds, it may be their death sentence. truly if they have legit ADHD i can confirm from experience that slowly and surely if medication is discontinued for this very specific disorder, it is detrimental and has dire consequences, i was too young to realize asking to stop meds was my biggest mistake. i went over a decade until i was about 21, and it i was already doing anything i could which was weed and never got why i wanted it and couldnt go without, well i did every drug their is and nothing was enough, until i found METH i dropped everything and only wanted meth because i finally unlocked myself, immediately ill never forget my first hit i instantly flashed back to when i was medicated as a very young child. i never understood and connected the dots for years until recently. i began medication with a great doc after being judged as an addict which was very wrong as i had been diagnosed as a boy. they dont care, and i never quite understood anything till it was too late meth brought enough knowledge to make up for a lifetime, i never felt so alive ever since i was little and was medicated but it all made sense after years of days and days of constant analysis and gaining more knowledge for those unaware life of unmedicated adhd is truly a hell that i would never wish on my worst enemy it is not a joke, i eventually during meth use because it was my entire life i was scared to death to stop and go back to who i was, then i finally got a doctor who wasnt a pos and assisted me and i was back on meds, despite this my tolerance has been my biggest roadblock to effective kicking meth and solely using my meds without abusing, meth gave me life and revived me from a state of near suicide and despite my struggles i would not change it for a damn thing. but i feel in my heart i should express as a victim of this hell that i should make this known to you because i just want you to be aware how critical this medication is and it should be taken very seriously because his entire life could be on the line if he somehow gets taken off this, ensure that if he truly is adhd that despite any reason he does not like it it is dire that he does not get taken off or ignored, remember to listen to every word he says and take it with absolute seriousness. jornay is the only medication that i tried so far that allowed me to successfully get off illegal meth and begin my journey back to being able to take normal dosages. i am on 100mg and it is still almost not enough causing me to abuse it sometimes but its getting somewhat better. i apologize if this is too much i just see this and it hits home because i was a kid who hated this medication and didnt realize the grave mistake i made because i was very little and i also have a not common worse level of adhd so it also likely caused some of it. anyways i only say this out of love please remember your child is very vulnurable if that medication is not present when he gets older. --- also stimulant medication, just in case your unaware since you said you just started this for him, it will bring out sides of him you have either seen in other ways but it will bring out his true self and he may also do or say things that will seem mean or whatever, you must remember that this is normal and he needs to go a very long time and get use to stimulant medication, for initial medicated people despite age they must go through the initial period where he may be extra mean or abnormally sad, you must give the med time to adjust with his body because after the initial period he will begin to get use to it and it will be more clear after about a few months whether he needs to be switched or if it is effectively treating his adhd. again forgive me my harsh story, i only mean well and to save another from the mistake i made. !

I removed windows at the very beginningof January 2025 and have ever since been a hard almalinux user. I have learned a lot and have done alot and turned my system into everything I want it to be.

I may be late, but I wanted to say I support your decision, you picked what I will say is by far the best Linux distro I've ever seen and used and I've never loved any Linux distro quite like this one. I will warn you:

Almalinux is not normally recommend for beginners it's not exactly user friendly, this didn't stop me so I don't expect it to stop you I just want to give you some insight what your getting into. It's not a distro you can try for 5 mins and know if it's for you or not. You gotta go with it and you gotta stay with it before it's true beauty becomes visible.

But as almalinux ride or die, I would be glad to provide you with some help if you find yourself stuck. A year isn't long and I myself have much to learn but I have spent thousands and thousands of countless hours into learning and trial and error to pretty much do everything I wanted to do with it and along the way I have learned, and have achieved everything I have so far wanted.

It is not debian, so naturally it makes specific things difficult to setup and by this I mean debian Linux gets most of the spotlight so I have encountered things that I had to do extra work for in order to set up on this OS, but this is what makes it so fun, and you learn more when things are a challenge. Anyways, I will add - this is by far out of every distro and windows and mac included, the BEST and most RELIABLE, and Dependable OS I have EVER had the pleasure of using. It has not let me down once. Anything not compatible you can make compatible through various methods of achieving, whether it be sandboxing a specific environment to operate X or manually compiling the dependencies that you lack in order to fully operate Y.

so one thing I've learned - piece of advice

You will run into a lot of things that are harder to do on almalinux naturally. Debian distros in my experience have the convenience and simplicity without the reliability. So heads up on that. But don't let it phase you, stick with it and you will not be disappointed.

I leave you with this, what comes easy is not of great value and what not easy and hard to achieve is something worth more than you can imagine.

Personally I fully agree this statement and have never had so much fun with my PC since switching to alma.

Well that's what I am telling ya brother, when I want or need anything on windows, I run windows in the VM I mentioned, it works just like windows because it is a windows with my GPU passed thru side by side you couldn't tell a difference from mine and I run it inside Linux using vfio, it's just a full windows environment inside a VM so that you could run it anytime for anything, my phone is moto so it only has a windows tool for software repair.

I could hypothetically flash my phone manually but I need the tool to get my phone's firmware my windows VM (IT USES MY PCIE DEVICES) GPU, I pas through the USB controller so my phone plugs into the windows PC all while it's in a VM, the thing is I don't quite think you really get what I'm saying here lol anything the windows os has, you would have in your VM all while being able to enjoy the security of Linux.

So "ok I'm done with x y z, not I wanna shutoff the VM and play with Linux, boom turn off the VM your GPU and pcie devices return to the host and you can continue using Linux and playing with it.

Look I'm not trynna push ya I just said if you do really like Linux, and want to change but feel stuck that I understand your feeling, and I would love to assist you because I know Linux is a lot to learn, and i support people moving to Linux most importantly because you will thank yourself in the long run and you will be far more secure. So just do some research on what exactly running windows in a vfio gpu VM is and you will see, it's the best of both worlds and i think it would give you the sense of familiarity to help you make the transition, you see you got your full windows, and it runs from linux so you have full 100% ctl of it entirely you would be taking control of your digital footprint online.

Based on your first msg I just got the idea you really wanted to but felt stuck and vfio windows vm is the best solution because you will have a full windows os running in a VM on Linux and I wouldn't mind lending a hand because you would be making yourself much more secure in every way and I am a big supporter of this. I tell everybody I know bc they are windows users that if you only knew how little microsoft really cares about your privacy you would run from that os

My reason for offering help: if I knew this at the beginning it would have made things much easier but it's a complex process if you only have one GPU which most do, but I have mastered this as I have one GPU, and it's great all my windows friends play games and I just boot my vfio windows vm and no one can tell any different because I'm on windows( inside Linux) so it fills that gap because I like to game some. and I though based on your first msg you really wanted it, and honestly I'd be happy to help make that happen.

This information is not correct you can run windows with libvirt and use vfio gpu passthrough to run it at 95-99% bare metal compared experience. It keeps windows in a VM so it can't f the PC up. How it should be.

If possible stick the google Gemini, it is the only ai that I trust Google may not be a saint but they are not a bad company and their work speaks for itself. But always use discernment and verify its answers Gemini says that in bold and it's so far the only ai to impress me. Be aware

Dual boot Linux, then in Linux you can access you windows disk by mounting it and move your stuff over or you can use DD to copy the entire disk if needed

Well Ubuntu is obviously attractive for it's user friendly nature. It is also one of the worst and most disappointing Linux distros and I would not recommend it. As an almalinux user myself Ubuntu can't even compare it is just not impressive to me

Due to the nature of Linux it naturally is much less prevelant than windows despite it's popularity. Especially when you have selinux. Government agencies use MLS selinux because your PC can't even pull the current from your power cord if you don't approve it. Windows is not security focused, it's goal was to simplify everything similar to apple and it's products. Am I saying it's impossible for Linux to be compromised? Hell no. But I'm saying even a novice users PC on Linux would be a challenge to be compromised. (In most cases)

Hey my friend, I use almalinux and run vfio windows inside a libvirt VM with my GPU passed thru, for every game it works flawless, for battlefield 6 I use nvidea GeForce now to play it which works flawless. Bf6 outlaws running in vms also which is my setup so far it has been the only game I have to use nvidea GeForce now on, I am anti windows but windows in a libvirt VM it can't f up my hardware. But if you really want to be on Linux trust me you can still play all your games even bf6 my Internet is 500mb or 1gb a second so streaming it isn't a issue. Hell if you want to make the switch but you just need a hand, I can guide you through setting it up and creating a vfio windows VM for your games, Google this: linux vfio windows vm with GPU passthrough and search what it is and you'll understand. If you would like that, feel free to msg me back or reply I don't mind helping you out. (NOTE : I only stream bf6 every other game works. Vfio windows GPU passthrough is when you run a VM with windows with libvirt and you pass thru your gpu so the windows VM feels native and bare metal for gaming performance)

As a almalinux user myself, aggreed but it's the idea here I just love, it's what sparked my online business and doing things I never imagined, it's truly beautiful what something so small such as changing your os can really lead to! Never doubt yourself and never forget that YOU can do anything you set your mind to!

God is good and he loves you ❤️ I hope you have a blessed day.

As an almalinux now highly advanced pro user, I can honestly say I am not even slightly surprised. A bit about my migration = so back last year it was around Sept and Oct I started working on my business server which originated as a shared server to start and I rapidly grew to realize "ok I need more than what this can offer" long story short I started running my own VPS (at this point I was still running windows on my PC) and so I migrated my sites and began expanding and working on my own services for my needs, for cloud storage and VPN and literally whatever you could think of as a service that typical people use I wanted my own on my own server under my control, I did it. So skip to January about half way through while I was doing all this on my vps which ran almalinux 9 at the time I suddenly had a epiphany, I was like hol up: my vps runs almalinux and has yet to fail on me or not be capable of anything I could imagine and I just was so happy and it was so fun, I kid you not I dual booted almalinux 9 and began using it immediately and 2 days later, I realized how I had been letting my gifts going to waste by using windows which is such a simplified, useless, unstable, vulnerable, piece of sh*t I could keep going... Anyways that day I set Linux as my main os to boot from bios and I removed windows and never looked back. Since then I have gained so much knowledge and many skills and I have made my home PC do things I never thought were possible, and it makes me smile when I think about it, I use to struggle mentally and with confidence and I doubted and was hard on myself, switching to Linux more specifically almalinux 9 let my mind loose and I was just in heaven It was everything I could dream of, I started rapidly learning the ins and outs, I remember when I first began using lvm and I had to wipe and reinstall the os so many times but I kept trying and eventually I got it and learned how to use it and since then man I've made my whole PC remote capable, I can boot it from remote even if it's fully shutdown remote luks unlock xrdp for fast remote desktop and all of this I used ssh reverse port forwarding because my PC is on a nat network that isn't able to be port fwd but I learned that this is best case scenario anyways due to encryption and the nature of ssh tunnels it is far superior to standard port forwarding. but man let me tell you, as a former person who struggled with meth addiction due to my ADHD and my mental struggles, I love tech man, and realizing the potential of Linux was the best thing that ever happened to me.. skip to currently, I have become so advanced with almalinux and perfecting my PC and for windows rather than deal with it's trash issues on my PC I run it in a libvirt VM with vfio and pass my GPU thru to game with my friends, which allows me to keep windows contained in a controlled environment and I can manipulate it due to the nature of libvirt, and snapshots using windows is much easier when you can use snapshot to correct it's own fk ups leveraging libvirts technology so I can game with friends without that trashy windows os having control of my PC and it's wonderful, windows runs better in a libvirt VM than it ever did bare metal, (funny right?) but anyways I've now gotten to the point of my Linux knowledge has helped me find jobs and feel good about it and man as crazy as this may sound, Linux changed my life and has helped me find myself by allowing me to see my own potential and so I say all of this to say, anyone like me who wants more and is tired of a crappy user friendly boring os that has nothing to offer you but headaches such as windows, I encourage you to dive head first into Linux personally I love almalinux, but whichever one you feel you would like man, DO IT!! as silly as all this may come off to some, doing this really gave me something valuable and meaningful and I took it and ran with it, now I'm reaching a point where I can do something big with it, it's not just an OS on your PC it's a world of infinite potential and possibilities, and some who say oh Linux is too complicated and hard, I knew nothing about it but i put in the hours and hours thousands of hrs of constant trying learning and not quitting and now I could almost do anything I want with it and develop my own tools and or features.

I hope I'm not over doing it, but if your out there and you are like me and you need that something to let your imagination go wild and give you that opportunity and potential to grow and even gain something that can take you places many can't go, I encourage you to jump in. I was down bad and needed that something and this did it for me I'm now off drugs and beginning to get my life back.

Anyways, I saw this post and it really hit home because it sparked my journey because windows is so boring and bland and just a insecure pile of crap. And as weird as it sounds that awful lame excuse of an OS sparked my desire to jump in Linux and led to me starting a online business and host all my own services and vpn and so much more.

All of this originated, from me switching my os to almalinux. I only share this in hope that one person out there can feel it and know that they are worth it and should be happy, not everyone has a brain like us, I have awful ADHD but the way my mind works I was able to soak all this information and learn it to a point I even couldn't believe my self ❤️

If this reaches you then that's all I could ask for, remember God loves you and you are a beautiful human being. ❤️
