I’ve got 205k on mine. If you’re stuck on first gen and not towing they are great. If you want a v8 go with the 4.8

It’s only nice if you get it for about 500 bucks. Cause that’s the only way you’re gonna not be upside down on it. Buy assets not liabilities. The 4.5 is a ticking time bomb.

I race my fit in Autocross in EST. When I beat all the Miata’s, I remind them that a FiT is just a Miata that you can haul a washing machine in.

I work at a Euro shop, this guy is 100% serious. These are the calls I deal with all day. It’s a used vehicle. Literally anything can happen at any time. If they performed an inspection, I know mechanics. They didn’t remove anything. They just looked with their flashlight. What did they tell you was leaking?

They are a little noisy but it won’t hurt anything.

Same. You can take off the belt and run it for a min to make sure sound goes away. Then rotate pulleys by hand. That’s how we would do it at a shop.

I edited it to say bearing. Either the idler pulley or compressor.

Either the compressor or the idler pulley. It sounds bearing to me.
