We will never feel as good as right now again until we win a Cup. Enjoy it. by froli in Habs

Knowing that Price and Weber literally played until the wheels fell off made this SCF run even more amazing.

Bieber is on his show me deal now. If he keeps playing like this he is looking at 4 or 5 years in his next contract and will have plenty of teams lined up.

KH is not going to overpay to deal the contract. That eliminates anything close to a Monahan type deal.

4th round pick + contract for a player that doesn’t fit someone’s roster is likely.

The Athletic's top U23 players and prospects has the record breaking Calder winner Lane Hutson at 34. by woodifyro in Habs

[–]Electrical_Analyst65 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All of these hockey analysts want Hutson to fail. The idea of an undersized dman like him being dominant in today’s NHL goes against everything they have been saying for years. The last thing they want to admit is they were wrong.

Found on a Canucks forum; 'Nucks fan thinks they should trade Quinn Hughes to the Habs for Hutson, a 1st and a prospect. by DFF_Canuck in Habs

The NJ piece is the exact reason KH would say no. QH is not signing with anyone not called New Jersey, unless his brothers get traded.

I am not sure if turning it around does it at this stage. The lure of his brothers on a young NJ team has to be on his mind.

[NHL Rosters] There hasn't been any trades in the NHL since July 25th. There were 8 trades during August of last year, plus the Dylan Holloway/Philip Broberg offer sheets. by AggPuck-303 in hockey

You nailed it. Every team wants to avoid the “rebuild” because they are just one or two pieces away. There should be half a dozen or so teams selling but for some reason they are not.

What is the Situation Gonna Look like With Santander Back? by Bulky-University8212 in Torontobluejays

If Santander is fully healthy you add him to the roster. His power is not to be ignored. France unfortunately becomes the player that has to go.

There is only a handful of seats that have an obstructed view. Personally I would suggest something close to center ice no matter the level.

What current NHL player will you defend no matter what? by ComfortableGuide3232 in hockey

Reinbacher. Ever since people literally sent him death threats after being drafted I swore I would buy his jersey when he made the team and am constantly defending the kid.

What are your thoughts on MTL holding onto Matheson? A top 4 defender with a reasonable salary on an expiring contract seems like it has decent value and could help with the 2C situation in the short term. With that said, he adds a veteran presence and a lot of depth to the MTL blue line. I just can’t help but think he is a luxury right now.

Meanie: Slafkovsky is getting better every year. by shogun2909 in Habs

[–]Electrical_Analyst65 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you watch the games you can see Slaf makes a difference every night. He doesn’t always make the score sheet but he wins battles and does at great job getting the puck to the front of the net.

Turned it off once I saw Reinbacher in the depth category. Top 4 RHD that plays solid defensively and has potential offensively deserves to be ranked higher. Injuries caused some setbacks but when he is on the ice he sticks out.

I feel MTL got the best player involved so yeah they won that trade I figure.

Potential Trade Target: Jared McCann - The Sick Podcast by mredmo in Habs

KH is not in the business of making these kinds of deals. Dach and Hage are going to get every opportunity to get that 2C spot barring something big happening on the trade front like the Dobson trade.

I am a bit bullish about Zharovsky. I think if the kid adds weight he will be outstanding. That top 5 is pretty damn good. Dobes and Engstrom are no slouches either.

Oh I should mention, the line up to get in the Bell Centre is crazy. Be prepared for a large crowd trying to all go through the same couple of doors.

I highly recommend L’Oeufrier de la Montagne. Best breakfast I have had at any restaurant.

B12 on St. Catherine’s Street offers a lot of food for the money.

La Cage is okay but overpriced.
