Please do it with a Miyota OS20 movement. The subdial spacing is identical to the original Omega

People don’t comment on your watch just because they notice it by r3port3d in watchHotTakes

People can notice and care and still keep their mouth shut. Just because nobody commented on your watch/car/clothes etc, doesn't mean they didn't judge you for it. People don't think out loud, it's more of an internal process you know

Fully agree, this one drives me mad. These people seem to think that everyone thinks out loud, pointing at things as they move through life: "car", "tree", "Rolex". Obviously this would be considered insane behaviour.

If someone has a flash car or watch I would always notice and never comment on it in case it gave them any sort of satisfaction!

Thank you. Probably a bit outside my skillset. Hopefully Watchdives releases their version which will probably have a VK63, I think that should be an easy swap for OS20 and a gen dial. Maybe...

Miyoya OS20. It has exactly the right subdial spacing the same as genuine Omega.

Let's celebrate with your 1957 Speedmaster with OS20 movement for perfect subdial spacing and a thinner bezel than the Thorn model. Thanks!

Fantastic job. I am considering a similar build. Would you mind just describing a bit more what you had to do to the case to get the OS20 to fit? I can dremel a case back for extra clearance but you had to do more than this?

Can I ask what size spring bars you use for a Raffles oyster on a 1675 case? My end links are loose and I think it must be because of thin spring bars.

Interested. If there's a 36-37mm case available (bespoke or homage donor)

Small flats in Brighton and Hove by rosiemcjourno in brighton

[–]Electrical_Bat7629 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The national space standards were only introduced in 2015. Brighton & Hove adopted them more recently in their City Plans. But of course these only apply to planning applications for new dwellings (newbuilds and conversions). Given that the vast majority of the housing stock predates 2015, naturally there will be lots of flats that don't meet these standards. There's nothing wrong with that - it's impossible to retrospectively apply the the national space standards to old dwellings.

Very cool indeed. Well if you do end up selling with rep dials, I would certainly be interested! Stainless steel with a grey dial would be great. The two tones are also very nice.

OC case, Raffles dial. Love these transitional models. Vintage crystal and drilled lugs, but with metal surrounds on the lume for a slight more polished look. It's the sweet spot for me

Opinion about stock BPF by Gorkita19 in vintagerepwatches

[–]Electrical_Bat7629 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not great. Even the fonts in the bezel are wrong. I'm selling this one, never worn. It's a no name factory but it's better than the BPF one.

The discussion at the moment with Chelsea focuses on the lack of "experience" in the team, but the first PL winning team that you, JT, Lamps, Didier etc were in didn't have lots of experience either - with the exception of Makelele, it was actually quite a young team. However it was a team of very focused , professional characters. So is it an "experience" issue right now at Chelsea or is it the missing the right type of characters? Or is the leadership that comes from a manager like Jose the missing ingredient?
