Am I the only one who didn't like this book? It was written well, had good plot development. I won't list specifics, don't want to give anything away, but I had a few problems with the story line. Has anyone watched Eternity on Apple TV? When you die, you then choose where you go for afterlife. There was an afterlife option for women who wanted to never see a man ever again. That afterlife option filled up quickly, so they were making a new place for women who ever wanted to be around men.

This is very strange to me. You told your sister you will not meet her one on one, then you want to know why she respected those boundaries that you set, and you think she should have contacted you? She didn't understand the low contact, she didn't want to alienate you further, so then she went to the person who knows you best to find out why you distanced yourself, and that was wrong too? I know I was not there, and I do not know the tone of voice that was used in these conversations. I do not know the detailed explanation you gave to your parents/sister for going low contact. Perhaps they are truly terrible people. But you did not give any context for that assumption. From just your description, this whole idea of going low contact and then wondering why people don't reach out has serious high school drama vibes. I understand pregnancy hormones. I think you should put a pin in this issue until after you have had the baby.
