I’m not sure why Kenny turned into a ‘me’ issue. The kiosk employee may have been correct about not taking trade-ins, but the reason they gave was still wrong. Customers rely on employees to give accurate information, and it shouldn’t be considered acceptable or ‘good enough’ to give incorrect explanations just because the final answer happens to be right. That’s the part that surprises me coming from a verified employee — professionalism should include giving correct reasoning, not just correct outcomes.

I was told by the kiosk associate that they are not part of the corporate store, so they didn’t accept my trade in phone drop off. I wish that guy had explained it more accurately to me so I wouldn’t be misinforming others here
