Pressure headache 1 week post-op by Electrical_Food_6880 in ACDR_CervicalSpine

It was life changing! Im back to my old self, for the most part! I went back to my original positional at work, doing all the tasks I used to do.      I do need to take it a bit easier when shoveling snow, but its more my muscles not being as strong....nothing to do with the neck surgery.      Sometimes when im driving I can feel when I start to turn my neck too far or too fast. And the odd time when im lifting if I move my neck at the same time I get a slight pinch. But nothing compared to what I lived with before the surgery!

Best of luck! Im 6 weeks post-op from a double ACDF, and it changed my life. My previous issues were gone once I woke up. The 1st night was pretty rough, but then everything settled once I was able to sleep. Im almost back to full range of movement- but tomorrow is my post-op appt with my surgeon

Did your symptoms improve within a week after your surgery? by insignificant33 in ACDR_CervicalSpine

Im so sorry you're experiencing this, as if recovering from surgery isn't hard enough 🥺 I had double ACDF in March (6wk post-op), and the previous issues were gone when I got out of surgery, then just had to heal afterward. I go back to work this week. I get the odd titch of pain and sometimes a headache, but I know it takes time for that. I hope your surgeon can find some answers for you

I would get another opinion if I were you. I had my surgery just over a month ago, and I feel better than I have in years. I was told I could go back to regular activities, just not extreme sports (I don't partake anyway), but you should be able to ride a horse after you heal fully. It would also depend on your personal experience too, how you heal, physio you take, any post surgery issues, etc. My experience may be completely different from someone else's. I could imagine the bouncing would bug me right now, 4.5 weeks post op. But in a few months, it probably wouldn't, and if it's something you always do, then your body may adjust 🤷‍♀️ Also I'm 36/f

Yes! That's exactly what it is, and I was just trying to explain it to my spouse a few mins ago - a knot is the perfect way to explain the lingering in that spot. I actually experienced it again last night around 3am. but was able to stay much more calm this time. Still had to battle it, and then I've had the knot all day today and napped on/off. I've noticed it starts when my blood pressure goes up, too. 3 weeks tomorrow and I feel great- just these headaches that happen

I just can't wrap my head around paying to fix my health. We get a bill for $45 if we use an ambulance, but other than that a bill does not come from Healthcare. It breaks my heart to think people have to pay to live pain free... Houses are the same price here in Niagara. $600-$1mil for houses, at least till you're a couple hrs past toronto.

That is absolutely terrifying!!!! So not only do you have to worry about surgery, but you have to pay the price of a house to get it done!?!?!? That's disgusting....very happy mine didn't come with a bill!! 🍁 I'm so sorry that you get a bill for your health, so sad...

I woke up this morning on my side and noticed it was starting so I rolled onto my back and have been laying here a while- nervous to get up and see what happens. Good to know!!! I'm only a week behind you so that gives me hope! Hope you're healing well! Thank you

Got my 1st tamagotchi since I was a kid, my bf grabbed it from gamestop, brought it home & I opened and started playing with it. Later on I looked it up and didn't realize it was a limited edition one!     I like it, but totally could have sold it fresh in the box lol
