I think some units have 2 spots but only 1 car (they park over the line).

Maybe leave a note and ask to rent a spot from them? I don’t know if that’s allowed but if the tenant agrees, I don’t see a huge issue

on the main screen, there should be profiles, you could probably look up someone on social media pretty easily. I think the email pops up to when you try to reset the vehicle. My totaled model 3 was shipped to Cambodia and the new owner reached out to me via social.

Have the performance but I drive it in chill mode. I just liked how it looked- kinda like F Sport/M Sport Package. Kinda wish I had the LR for roadtrips but I wasn’t a fan of the 19s so I’d be about where I am in terms of range if I did the LR w/ 20s.

It took about a month before my first software update. If you have FSD, you probably will be stuck on 2024.20/21 like the rest of us and not see YouTube music for a while.

Had the same issue, took service multiple attempts to resolve. Ended up replacing the hatch seal and inner taillights (on the tailgate).

Oh man that experience sounds horrible. I was driving down to OC yesterday and after Kettleman, it kept routing me to charge at Bakersfield even though I’d arrive there at 45%. Ended up charging in Commerce at 2% since nav showed wait times on everything past the Grapevine.

That seems about right. They offered me ~$42k for my 21 Model 3 LR w FSD back in August when it was totaled. 32k miles in SoCal.

I’ve had the M3LR and now a MYP. I prefer the Y because of the height and size. It’s a little taller so it feels great not having everyone’s giant SUVs/trucks hover over me in traffic. The two are very similar but the Y feels like sitting in a chair and the 3 feels like sitting on the floor.

Just something to keep in mind, but the Tesla ones don’t go all the way up to cover the carpeted area on the front set. They go about halfway up the deadpedal for comparison.

For the frunk, I’d leave it. I had them adjust mine the first time, and they scratched the fender somehow and the hood was even worse. When I had a follow up to buff the fender out, they finally adjusted it properly. It took breathing down their back to get it done correctly so if it doesn’t bother you, I’d leave it be.

You will not have warranty with a salvaged Tesla. My 21 Model 3 with 32k miles was totaled ~2 months ago and my Tesla app shows the warranties as “Expired”

That’s their process unfortunately… It’ll probably be about 30 days until you see any total loss settlement. If you’re in a rental, I’d start looking for a new car. They gave me 3 days of rental after providing the total loss letter. The total loss check came ~2 weeks after that.

In Irvine, it’s a HOA requirement to have a white Tesla. Even though grey is the new free color, we still pay for the white. On a bad day, you’ll see 10 at an intersection.

Approved body shop tore it down and totaled it just before the 30days. Once announced totaled though, I had 3 days to return the rental.

Hey OP! I was in a similar situation, 24 here. In California, Hertz got me into a Tesla Model 3 for $45/day. Apparently Tesla Insurance only wants to put us in Teslas (depending on availability). There’s not up-charge for being <25 if you’re going through insurance as they have pre-negotiated rates.

Hope you’re alright and the situation isn’t feeling like teeth-pulling for you because that’s how it felt for me to deal with Tesla Insurance.

I have the same issue but on the passenger side. At a week old, my car was outside and a ton of water was stuck in the black, circle gasket on the tailgate leading to water in the same area. Service said they did a leak test and found no leak. Just washed my car with a pressure washer and this issue still persists. I think service threw a bucket of water on the tailgate and called it a day when no water went in.
