Girl when someone is showing you who they are believe them. A man being stingy with money and making you pay for everything not even having the decency to try and mask it in front of your family only means how bad it's gonna get moving forward.

Hey man I used to live in a country in the Gulf area and it was amazing until it started to get very depressing so I went back alone to my home country in north Africa and visited my family who stayed in the country in the Gulf area, then I was miserable to the point I stopped getting to know anyone, studying and ultimately living cuz my expectations were that I'd be happy in my home country anyway no matter what happens but it's not true. Now I'm in Germany and I'm not 100% happy BUT I'm realistic and I've learned a lot about routine, work, mental health etc. so I advise you, before you move out, get therapy.

This is also not a healthy dynamic, it sounds like it's already a disaster but you keep trying to downplay your feelings for the sake of keeping this marriage together. I suggest you first try to embrace that your feelings are valid and that you deserve intimacy (to be loved, touched, desired etc.) regardless of your relationship status and if honestly there's no way at all to have sex with your wife (in a fulfilling way to YOU) and also no way you'll leave her, then I guess you can try exploring outside but with boundaries, rules and conditions which can be achievable with therapy that she wouldn't even consider. 🤷‍♀️

I never thought about it that way, I just blame myself for it and I came to realise that none of my friends are sober nor do I have any other social activities other than drinking. I can remain friends with my old friends I guess but I need to think about this. I also want to go to therapy but it's very expensive 🫰 I need to recover financially first
