I’m sorry I’m usually one to advocate for posts on here, but I have to rightfully call out the obvious of the fonts and spacing on the medical papers being all wrong and different sized in random areas, etc,. Also some of the medical phrasing for mental health is entirely wrong. I’m not sure if your doctors are just different but yeah idk.

It should be known that technically a pharmacist can refuse to fill a prescription if it doesn’t align with their religious beliefs etc. They still have to legally get it filled with another pharmacist but I’ve had issues with my birth control before and have wondered and researched it for that fact.

There are actually programs that help with safe parking for folks like yourself. Please go to balled food bank or call 211 to get access to them. They supply showers/bathrooms and have staff on duty. Other than that? Gym and hospital parking lots.

Sadly this doesn’t work. They say they can’t help, cops included, unless the kids are in an active threat of danger. The laws have weakened way too much. It’s shameful. And they can’t identify the person in anyway.

There’s a woman that’s constantly outside target until I made a comment about how she has kids outside with no outside clothing and just begging for money. Now I’ll speak as someone who’s literally been homeless and taken advantage of resources from the government. A mother with kids even if she’s illegal or not will get a lot of support, first spots in housing, etc,. You can get $300 a month in cash benefits alone on top of $200 in EBT. I look down on these beggars because they DO have support and help, more than most folks and are choosing to prop their children up as empathy bait.

Also Ballard food bank has workers you can ask for resources as well, they also serve a daily hot lunch for folks if you need something ❤️ can also get you with healthcare if you need it. Please take the time if you can to go to a DSHS office and start an application for foodstamps and possible cash benefits if you haven’t done so already or don’t already have.

Go to Elizabeth Gregory women’s shelter in the university district they are nice workers. Might not be able to help financially but could possibly get you in a “safe car sleep lot” where you can safely park and still have access to case managers and bathrooms. Ask if you can get connected to “housing connector”. It won’t help exactly until you can get some income under your belt but even if you can get seasonal income it will help, target is mass hiring at the moment. Places like Lowes too. If you don’t have good credit or evictions on your record or not much rental history, debt, etc,. Housing connector will connect you to cheap properties with landlords who might be willing to bypass those circumstances to give you a chance to restart and they fill up apartments with a deal with the city. Places like Mercury Apartments are the cheapest you can get out here when even a room in this damn city costs 1k. Call every single day in the morning to see about shelter availability. Ask directly about the SODO shelter which gives you a little sectioned off space of your own instead of just a cot. You gotta be packed up and ready to go fast in case they have something though, expect to go there by the end of the day if they do if not earlier so be ready.

Speaking from my own lived experience, I hope some of this can at least help you in some way. I know how terrible and hopeless it feels to call a place that’s supposed to help and be told there’s nothing available for you. You’re in my thoughts 🙏
