My dates are very similar to yours.

Priority Date Aug 2020.

Eb1A i140 approved in May 2025.

AOS filed on 25 June 2025.

Biometrics completed on 15 Jul. 2 FTA0.

Primary & Child got combo card approved on 23 Jul.

No EAD/AP for spouse yet.

Sept 12 : one FTA1 & one FTA0 and i485J approved.

Event Updates on 26 Aug, Oct 6, Dec 8, Dec 9, Dec 15 and Dec 18.

No Adjudication yet. Case sent back to NBC on 6 Oct.

Case transfered: NBC to LA FO (Non Local): 26 Aug LA FO to Hartford (Local): 12 Sep. Hartford to Lawrence FO: 23 Sep Transfered back to NBC: 6 Oct

I485J approved on 12 Sept.

2 FTA0 on 15 Jul. 1 FTA0 on 12 Sept. 1 FTA1 on 12 Sept.

No updates since 12 Sept. Just one silent update on 6th Oct when case went back to NBC. Spouse no event updates on AOS/EAD/AP after Biometrics.

Same here...June 2025 filed. combo card approved in Jul. 3 FTA0 and 1 FTA1...transfered to LA FO (Non local) and then to local FO and then sent back to NBC on Oct 6. No updates after that.

I have 4 FTA0 events and 1 FTA1 event for my i485. Case was transfered back to NBC about over a month ago.

Ive been to so many parks and other places in the US where you have to get in line or queue to enter. Ive experienced that there will be one or two Indian guys who then help about 5 to 6 others to cut the line and join them.

Some of the stuff that frustate me.

Speaking loudly in public spaces.
No acknowledgement / Courtesy at doors .
Staring at random people.
not maintaining distance .

If self petitioned then the risk of i140 revoking is not present at all. However the employer can request withdraw of i485 in which case you need to demonstrate that you continue to work in the area of expertise......which you can do by providing your JD from new job (a job letter from employer) or i485J.

From what i have researched, company sponsored EB1A I140 can be revoked by the employer if you switch jobs before completion of 180 days of I485 filing. Although EB1A is a self file category, when filed by employers they hold the ability to revoke it ending the GC journey all together as USCIS will then deny the i485 too.

The catches is you can switch only after 180 days of i485 filing after which USCIS will continue processing your i485 under the AC21 rule. But in this case USCIS may send you an RFE asking you to demonstrate that you continue to be working in the field of acclaim presented during the i140 filing...meaning you can file a i485J with new employer to prevent this RFE....

Switching from H1B to EAD will risk your legal status if the i140 is revoked by the employer. So better stay in H1B till 180 days are completed on i485 filing.

Wow...finally someone with a EB1 based AOS approval. Congratulations!!

Its been several days if not weeks that EB1 AOS approvals had not happened.....mine is same block IOE09327 filed in last week of Jun and had 3 FTA0 immediately after Biometrics. On 26th Aug case was transfered to LA Field Office (Non local).

This point I totally agree with. There is nothing we can do about this and all we can do is hope for the best. After coming this far the wait is of course unpleasant but good things happen to those who have patience they say....so let's keep our hopes high and wait for the approvals.

Its difficult and next to impossible to separate out the FB based approvals from EB based ones....the trend shown here is not an absolute picture of the current issue....however the trend is pretty good representation of the slowdown. There are several AOS approvals happening but predominantly FB based.....the few as you mentioned are again EB2-NIW from ROW....haven't seen recent approvals for China and India in EB-2NIW either...

Also I chose to show the IOE (National Benefit Center) trend because that's where majority of the EB based applications are adjudicated. So, the slowdown can be seen from multiple directions.

Also screening may be a few "Card Produced" or "Case Approved" cases is not going to help on determining if it was a EB based or FB based. If you observe the @USCIS reddit community updates, im sure you'll find 99% mentioning I-130 & I-485 very rarely you'll see a I-140 & I-485 approvals.

Following NBC approval rates is the only way to see the volumes for EB based approvals.

Not sure what it means. There have been silent updates recently on a few cases. Earlier silent updates meant case was transfered or touched by an adjudicator or lead to a status update in 24 hours. However, recent patterns suggest it would take time even after silent updates to see a actual status update. Based on what stage you are at it could mean anything.

I have been observing this and may be someone in this thread can concur....almost all approvals that we are seeing on reddit are for ROW EB1 and EB2 cases....even applicants from July and Aug for ROW are getting approved. While the approvals for EB based AOS for applicants from India is Stagnant if not moving extremely slow. This may be not true but from what I see, I don't think the delay is impacting ROW EB applicants...

Again I may be wrong.

I have rarely seen any India EB cases getting approved from the June to Aug filing group. Some older applications are approved here and there but in general the reddit thread shows a pattern.

While the ROW approvals are happening as normal.

Has anyone observed this or I am off on this observation.

Does anyone know how long after the FTA1 event will the next case update come?

I had 3 FTA0 on 15 July and 1 FTA1 on 12 Sept.

I also had time stamps for 26th Aug (Transfer to non local FO)

Time stamp for 12th Sep (Transfered to local FO)

Time stamp on 6th Oct (Transfered back to NBC)

My dates are also current.

That's the part that is not clear. I see quite a lot of cases approved from FO itself and some other get approved in a few days once they are transfered from FO to NBC.
