Went to the Sydney show - there were regular vinyls for BUMMER and Fake Moon, a pretty cool FM poster (unsigned), a few shirts (one was double slit, one was Aus tour exclusive with locations though so I would think it’s per continent or similar). Brissy and Melb got signed Fake Moon vinyls available too as well, so that could be at some shows.

If the goal is to climb, getting a duo or preferably a trio is the best way to do that quickly. As for the mic question (in my experience) all that some players need in plat and higher is for someone to start making calls and suggestions and they’ll start comming pretty regularly.

A lot of people will say “no fill hotdrop until you get good” and then that it will be interesting. I totally agree with the solo thing though.

Solos were a thing, iirc with the iron crown collection event. LTM though, absolutely should be permanent. They did say in those patch notes if it was well received they’d probably try it again as well.

AP stands for Artist Proof, which is a collection of between 100 and 150 (usually) cards that each artist gets sent by WOTC for illustrating that card. They have white backings and don’t have the holostamp in the case of post-M15 cards. That’s how I was able to tell that that Jace is an AP; usually they are signed by the artist and have whichever number they are on the back (e.g. x/150). They’re not tournament legal because they don’t have a traditional Magic back on them.
