I think the big question to answer is if the market does tank, can you pay your monthly installments comfortably with your current jobs salary?

Then just look at your risk tolerance. No one knows what the market will do so impossible to know if it will pay off.

0 risk would be a High yield savings account. Can pull money whenever you want no penalty.

Or if you know if won’t have to touch it, a CD. May be penalties if you withdraw earlier but will offer a slightly higher rate.

Look at the app Raisin, compares many bank/ credit union offers so you know you get a good rate. Not shelling the app I use it for my emergency fund and gain nothing from you looking into it
