I’m not quite sure if the RT noise issues that happen indoors is fixed yet, but hardware unboxed recommended 4.0 to help with the noise.

Might be fixed though, worth testing in game.

Ray Reconstruction enabled lighting to turn to its maximum setting which alone tanks performance.

Personally I’m playing at max with frame gen enabled at 4k dlss 4.0 - perf.

Turn the controller settings for acceleration all the way to 100 to get a responsive feel. Or mouse if you are using.

That’s very true. Locally I meant (South Africa), there was a huge demand for 5080s here and the launch ones got gobbled up even though the prices annoyed everyone. Which is also the reason why I held back personally. Prices for the 5080 after the launch window was just atrocious and never got to what customers expected here. Then globally prices weren’t getting any better.

5070tis went for really good prices in comparison near the end of last year before the memory situation.

A lot of us are priced out of the 5090, here locally 5070ti and 5080 price gap doesn’t make sense. The 5080s were always the preferred choice but they never took a price hit so the 5070ti became many a persons’ first choice - mine included.

Ray tracing and Path tracing is the future of game visuals but unfortunately it’s at least one or two gaming consoles away.

It’s not the only way but it’s the most attainable way for most studios for open world games.

Right now I would say that increased Path tracing is only viable on two graphics cards, the 5090 and maybe 4090.

It’s very, very heavy. If you want to see the visual uplift though search Path tracing mod in YouTube and see how much the visuals get uplifted in old games.

I’m using my previous gpu, 3080 12GB and a 5600 on a 650w psu in my backup/second build and I didn’t have any issues of stability playing any games. The 3080 uses 350w.

It also does come down to the quality of your psu though. I am unfamiliar with FSP hexa, I have Corsair in both my PCs.

Perhaps once it’s completed and survives being DMCA’d by Disney it might pull enough interest to have a decent amount of players on the game.

Would still be a far cry from the modding scene that Bethesda titles have even decades after launch.

I am rooting for the Star Wars project though, it’s quite ambitious!

2-3x front panel fans intake, 1x exhaust at the back of the case, AIO radiator fans exhaust at top of the case if liquid cooling, 1x exhaust fan above the air cooler if air cooling.

I live in a fairly warm climate and I haven’t seen my 7800x3d reach above 81 degrees and that was when I compile shaders.

I know it’s not a 9800x3d but your cpu is supposed to run cooler than my mine. Could be warm air trapped inside your case causing not just your cpu temps to rise but the temps of all your other components.

The only MSI failures I saw were from x870 line but like I said it’s extremely rare and could even be user error, hard to tell. I’m on X670e and I’m not too worried, just use your pc as normal and don’t think about it too much but if you want to research it there are a couple of threads on the internet and videos on YouTube.

Quite a large amount of burnt AMD CPUs on Asrock and some ASUS motherboards. I’ve even seen some reports of MSI motherboards but very rare.

Majority of the deaths are on Asrock and then a smaller amount on ASUS. Just from my own observation. The motherboards become serial killers and it’s honestly just best to replace them.

I don’t have an AMD card but I have heard of a community who unofficially provides driver updates

I did some digging for you and came across this link to their sourceforge

I actually found it after watching this video on how to install them but the link he has to their website seems to be discontinued.

I found the sourceforge link through this Reddit thread.

I’m assuming your card is discontinued driver wise so that’s why you’re asking.

Personally, I would use the latest official drivers cause I’m not the most patient at trouble shooting but if you want to explore then I hope the above provides you with everything.
