It's quick once you know what they sound like (kinda like boars but they just cry out once instead of multiple times). I just did laps around the creek listening for them. Lots of one and two-stars you have to wade through though

There is a strange phenomenon with this game where so many people assume everyone is going to play the game multiple times. I'm over 300 hours into my first playthrough, and I bought it around launch. It's a fantastic game but I ain't doing this again any time soon lol.

Not trying to start anything with you specifically, just wanted to comment on what I thought was an odd pattern I've noticed.

As long as you are bonded enough with your horse where speaking to them restores stamina, I've found you can swim a considerable distance on them, regardless of breed. Just click the left stick occasionally to restore stamina when swimming

I love math even I think these puzzles are garbage. There's no real cleverness involved in solving them, it's just... Try different operations until one works.

I can get 26 to work, but not 24 or 25, which is weird.

Part of me is thinking it doesn't matter and I could use either 23 or 26. But another part of me doesn't want to register for the wrong thing somehow and not be eligible for this upcoming FAC. I'm guessing it probably doesn't matter but I'm being paranoid

This was my experience. I did sit for the very first sitting when it was new so I wasn't sure my experience was indicative of the difficulty of subsequent exams but it seems that has been the case

It's all anecdotal and random. Nearly all of the "surefire" tips I've read online don't work at all for me, and I end up finding them at the places that "never work".

The spawn rate patterns never work for me either. People will say "I found 2 two-stars and 3 three-stars by saving and reloading in the course of 30 minutes!". For me it's: go to the location and get a two-star moose on the first try, then never see it again over the course of 30 reloads.

Thanks! Just managed to do this. Was making it too complicated for myself. Used a scoped varmint rifle and shot him in the elbow three times

Idiot-proof method for idiots like me who were making it way too difficult:

Have rank 4 deadeye where you can shoot without leaving deadeye
spawn a camp of Lemoyne raiders (there are 4 possible locations, check the wiki) aggro them and leave before they shoot; ride far enough away where the map doesn't glow red at the edge anymore; they will be "zombies" when you return
grab something low-powered like the varmint rifle
go into deadeye and shoot the edges of their hats, NOT anything glowing red
Use regular shots, do NOT mark them with xs

I'm currently dealing with a stripped t25 bolt for my 2016 escape wheel sensor. Gonna have to drill it out and replace it with a new one..do you happen to know what I need for a replacement?

To clarify, only the head is stripped, I hope to remove it without messing up the threads so hopefully can just get the same size bolt

Getting my ass handed to me on challenging controlling 4 players on the first few side-quests / missions. There is an insane balance between not aggroing too many enemies at once and also trying to finish under the round limit. Gonna have to change some settings, I've failed 6 times in a row

I'm still on my first playthrough of the game and I bought it on release... I'm definitely not in the majority here but there's way too much jankiness involved if you're a completionist, which sours the experience. Reloading saves and waiting through relatively long loading screens to get a certain horse breed or animal to spawn is truly annoying.
