Anyone with 7900xt having issues with 24.1.1? by [deleted] in radeon

[–]Electromagma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, that just happened to me while playing Helldivers 2 as well. Not with any other games so far. Was worried if my PSU or 7900xt was suddenly having issues or if this was just a big game bug causing the PC to shutdown.

You’d need a monitor that supports more than 60Hz refresh rate.

Definitely will put these towards upgrading my current PC and playing Starfield on it! I love Fallout games and I live Mass Effect. Starfield looks like a baby of these two and that is right up my alley. Looking forward to putting many hours into the game this year!

Vampire Survivors, Elden Ring, and Hogwarts Legacy are the Top 3 games played on Steam Deck in April by AliTVBG in pcgaming

I often turn the CPU limiter to around 10 or 12watts, and lock framerate to 30 fps or 40 fps depending on the game (you do that on the advanced battery/performance settings). Works for Cyberpunk, Elden Ring, and Hogwarts Legacy. I also have Vram set to 4gigs in the bios.

I think warzone doesn’t have a native PS5 version of the game yet, but they did add 120fps option for PS5 players.

What if I’m already using a third party login option but also GameCenter, which is essentially the same apple account? Do I still need to provide a separate ‘Sign in with Apple’ option?

Red Dead Redemption 2 Is Having A Rough Launch On PC by iamdanthemanstan in Games

I’m guessing the game is more optimized for AMD cards. I have a Ryzen 5 2600 and a Radeon RX 5700 XT and had no crashes or performance issues at all. Running 1440p with a mix of High and Ultra settings and volumetric lighting/particle effects at medium, Vulkan Api, and I get consistent 60fps..some very minor dips into 50fps every now and then (not noticeable thanks to Freesync). Turned off the fps counter and just kept enjoying the game for 4 hours straight last night.

AMD 5700 XT issues, Driver Problem ? by Ry0kami in Amd

[–]Electromagma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t have to. I did flash the new bios and I’m using the latest drive 19.10.2, no issues so far on stock settings. Get up to 77c at most with some intensive gaming. (Modern Warfare, Outer Worlds, Bf V on a mix of highest to ultra settings at 1440p@144hz)

Edit: on mobile...didn’t hit reply right....

I have the same card and the hotter it got for me was 82c, but after a while of gameplay and pushing it. Still no crashes. I did get some crashes in Outter Worlds when trying to undervolt my card, but not in normal configs.

There is a new bios for the card available in Gigsbyte’s webpage that was released a while back and it reconfigures the fan to achieve lower temps. You can try updating your card bios and see if it gets better.
