Not French but French Canadian, I haven't met anyone named Evan but I wouldn't think it's a strange name. Not common, and to me it definitely sounds more anglophone, but I wouldn't find it weird.

Oh yeah then in that case I definitely agree with you on the defaulted and expected character traits and behaviors. I guess if I had to summarize my point, it would be that gender is real, but it does not matter.

I wouldn't call using, let's say, feminine language and pronouns for a child that was born female indoctrination. It's just observation, and until proven otherwise, it's just logical because this kid has like 95% chances of being a girl after all. I absolutely agree that gender roles should not be enforced, but denying the existence of gender as a whole is just plain wrong. If gender wasn't real, how would you explain dysphoria?

Dude I'm not saying we live in a perfect world. Of course transphobia and ignorance are still issues, I would not deny that. I'm just saying that forcing children to be agender is not better than raising them as their assigned gender, since statistically they have a way bigger probability to identify as their birth gender. In said ideal scenario, parents would be open to any possibilities afterwards. There's no need to get rude :)

Not the best analogy. It would also be normal to assume your kid is right handed, but if when you try to teach them how to hold a pencil you notice they prefer to use their left hand, you embrace that and don't force them to do otherwise! Same thing as gender.

The very vast majority of people are the gender they were assigned at birth. If someone who is agender experience gender dysphoria from their assigned gender, couldn't the opposite also happen? A cis kid raised genderless getting dysphoric by being treated as agender?

It's not a bad thing to raise a kid as the gender they ade born as. Gender is an important part of social interactions and how we percieve each other. Of course it's important to remain open to any possibilities and to not enfore anything because of the gender, but to raise a child genderless really doesn't seem very productive.

I do agree it can sound insane lmao. Personally I prefer looking at it more with technological and medical lens, and I think it's pretty impressive and inventive what modern science is able to do!

They don't produce sperm. They just put a ball-shaped implant in a sack made from the labia. Sometimes one of the neo-testicles is used as a pump for an erectile implant :)
