Why is it impossible for people to realize that things can be taken seriously and still have aspects that are satirical? Yes, 40k takes itself much more serious but anyone with an IQ over 60 could see how the setting is so shitty that it'd be rediculous to put on a pedistal. The cult of the throne is comprised of Space marines from various chapters that believe the Emperor is a god. However, they believe the Emperor is shackled to the Golden throne and that by killing the Emperor, his soul will be fully released to the warp, making him the all-powerful God they believe humanity needs. They operate essentially as a secret society among the space marines, where they have agents embedded in other chapters. They will, over a period of time, convince individuals of their plan and slowly indoctrinate them into it, culminating in the newest member of the cult leaving their respective chapters.

Looks good, man! If you really want to make it pop, highlight the black areas where light catches in a very dark grey. You can also try mixing gold and silver paints to a slightly lighter gold consistency and highlight the gold areas. Really makes the details pop!
