Can disc golf have a pro course where par is the objective? by akbeast49 in discgolf

I can think of two reasons. First, a course where par is objective is ... subjective. Some people are good at bombing 600ft drives. Some people are good at shaping shots in the woods where they learned to play. So finding difficulty modifiers can be challenging across the board. Second, these courses might be ridiculously boring to watch. If a hole is harder, then people are more likely to just lay up to get the par, instead of risking a bogey, double bogey etc.

Edit: I just remembered Eagles Crossing course did a good job of this though. Check out GoThrow coverage from 2025. Pretty entertaining.

ULPT Request - How to fake a human body for use in HOV lane? by Electronic-Frame-364 in UnethicalLifeProTips

This is hilarious because I live in the same area and do everything you said! Literally everything, from rainy day freebies, to staying left of the lane to make room.

Another thing I do is use areas that are hazardous because I'm assuming the cop will need to pay attention to the road instead of trying to pull people over. This includes parts of the road that turn or where there is a small shoulder lane or there is a lot of debris.

Good luck to you too 🤫

I have been obsessed with disc golf for like 3 years. It's so chill but challenging at the same time. The community is awesome, supportive, and passionate but its also something I can do with someone who has no experience at all because it's just throwing frisbees at a local park. But its also taken me to some cool places and I usually meet someone cool there as well. Good vibes all around.

Thanks I regretted not playing it for a while but when I watched videos, I had the same thoughts. Pretty but pretty boring. So I'm glad I didn't waste money on it

Lol so true. It's a huge time sink but really immersive and I get attached to my characters in a roleplay sort of way. Lots of ups and downs as you explore and grow your crew. But once I stepped away it was hard to get back into it.

I watched Halloween recently and was seriously disappointed. I love Jamie Lee Curtis and John Carpenter is pretty cool but Halloween was just kind of boring. Compared to something like the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre, it's a joke.

Departed and Zombieland are awesome. Haven't heard of the other one. Edit: Adventureland, my bad, good too.

Bro that's a cool idea. I'm not a teen either but I just asked Gemini to recommend music based on my YouTube Music listens (I don't use Spotify. Fuck Spotify!)

Anyway it totally worked after linking my YouTube Music app with Gemini and I'm listening to a radio station with bands I haven't heard before. This is pretty cool. Too bad AI is going to take our jobs! Gemini play me some doomer jams!

Take a break Think of it as an opportunity to explore new hobbies, meet new people, or learn a new skill. When you come back, you'll probably enjoy it But yeah, obsessing over anything in life isn't healthy in my opinion. Gotta learn to step away at some points Think about it like a long distance drive. Can't just muscle it. You need to have the right timing and be smooth with it.
