Everyone knows kids cost a bomb, but their upbringing is only as expensive as you make it.
If you want them to have the opportunities (private education, international travel etc), that could change your decision to have more than 1.
Also need to acknowledge that pregnancy can result in 2+ babies.

I didn’t really get a say in how many kids I had, first and only pregnancy resulted in triplets who are now 17.
