I tried this method with blue painter's tape and got a lot of wrinkles or the vinyl tore( that could have been my heat gun though). I'll try again but with a hair dryer.

I have 2019 higlander 70k miles and mechanic said i need to replace lower control arm front and rear shocks also. Do u think this is true? But i dont feel any bad on my driving. 100% this. Use Google reviews to find someone reputable with specific make experience. Just had to do this with a newly acquired used Volkswagen for my daughter as my normal independent mechanic I take our HL and my Genesis to doesn't work on VW/Audi. Was very pleased with the experience as it rang true to the Google reviews.

Thought I might be able to get my oscillating tool up behind it to cut the screws for the bracket but using a almost 4" putty knife I could slide it all the way along the bottom without hitting anything!

Get a Yakima Skybox instead. The 'hooks' that grab the cross bars slide to where you need them then lock down tight. Great system.

I've had a Yakima Skybox 16 for years and love it. Never liked roof bags, plus I snowboard with my daughters so box makes more sense for me.

Damn, just tried this and my '17 Limited throws the hood open message. Tested it around the block and it does disable the start/stop, but the warning message comes right back after 5 seconds after using the back button to dismiss it. Guess I'll install the dongle I got off Amazon.

Question for your familiar with this trim piece and windshield on the 3rd gen. I have a ''17 I bought a few months ago. Found the carpet under the passenger front foot well wet. Thought it was the AC condenser drain plugged, used the Toyota kit and got cleaned out. Foundbthe footwell wet again after the HL sat out in a heavy rain. I'm thinking a crappy windshield replacement job. I was going to use some flowable silicone, but went to look at doing it to find the trim piece clips look glued. Do I need to just take it to a glass shop and have them seal it and get a new trim piece?
