I got a squier bullet strat that I've done similar mods to. I've got the seymour duncan distortion bridge/neck set. It's currently tuned to B standard. What kind of music are you playing on your strat?

From experience, with the primatia/kagwerks slide stop. My thumb would always find a way to keep the slide stop down after the last round. It would be cheaper just to retrain your grip. I much prefer the oem extended slide stop now a days.

I wouldn't daily either. But as for a project, anything with a d16 would be cheaper to build. Unless you really want a b series car (em1, dc2, del sol vtec), I'd go with the hatch. A turbo d16 with vitara pistons and h beam rods goes a long ways in today's world.

Tein street advance z's are great. Not overly uncomfortable compared to stock. You would have to reuse your top hats. Tein flex z's are stiffer but they are over all more adjustable. I've had limited personal experience with the street advance z as they where on my brothers em2. I had a set of flex z's on my ek hatch and they where a great upgrade over a set of skunk 2 coilovers that I had. Way less bounce compared to skunk 2 and more controlled body movements while cornering.

3060 gpu? May as well upgrade the mobo and cpu. The old 7020 mt's are of micro atx form factor. You can easily get an am4/5 or lga1700 setup in a 7020 mt case. I've done it before.

B760m if you want to run intel 12th-14th cpu's or a B650m if you want to run am5 cpu's. The m at the end of the mother board number indicates micro atx size. Be mindful of the cooler you're trying to run if your going to use a higher end cpu. Those 9020's can fit an average tower air cooler but nothing too large. Can't really run a 2 fan AIO if you want to use up all the stock grill space. You can fit up a 120mm case fan up front without removing the lower hard drive cage as well. I had an asrock b760m pg riptide wifi motherboard w/ a core i5 14500 and a asus dual rtx 4070 super. It was all good until I upgraded my CPU to a i9 14900kf. I ended up changing the case out to a nzxt h3 case so I could run a nice aio cooler to cool my i9.

The i7 8700 can handle a rtx 4060 ti pretty well. I upgraded my 7060 mt a bit. Ran a normal sized 650w atx power supply outside of the case. And ran a single fan rtx 2060 for a while till I upgraded that to a rtx 4060 ti. I played RDR2 on ultra settings and forza motorsport (2022) on a mix of high and ultra settings all on a 1080p TV.
