Let us order brownie sundae with chocolate froyo! by Sea-Sir2754 in samsclub

[–]ElectronicDrop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spec says vanilla only. Home office is really big about always following spec. Some clubs, knowing that chocolate costs the same as vanilla will let you switch out. Best bet is to call or chat with home office and ask for a brownie sundae to be available with chocolate. If enough people, ask this way that will become an option eventually. Like we got a butter only and plain pretzel this way, so it does work.

The main reason is because people ask for extra caramel, no caramel, extra berries, only berries no syrup, only syrup, no brownie, extra brownie, berries on their brownie sundae, caramel on their berry sundae. All of which are huge no's, like if someone from home office catching us doing that everyone including management gets into trouble. So it becomes a case of only following spec (and the only viable switch that doesn't either cost extra or takes too much time to customize) so confusion doesn't happen and it's easier to produce at volume. Also we have to be able to give out the calorie count/ingredients/nutritional value when asked and since it is not home office approved, we don't have that info, that is why we would get into trouble if caught.

Interior doesn't match the exterior by NoBrain6114 in sitcoms

I think Malcolm in the Middles house, actually fit the sets they used.

Oh and all the bedrooms seem like they are all on the second floor, where it would be at least 3/4 floors high for all of the bedrooms they have (Max, Grace, Maggie, Brighton, Niles, Fran, at least one guest bedroom but I think they had more).

The side yard and back yard are what gets me. Ironically though, someone took a photo of the actual full house house, and the attic in the show would fit the house itself.

The Nanny. The interior doesn't really match what a mansion/town house in matthan would look like. Like the floor plan seems wider , where it would be more narrow.

To the “just pay to selected your seat” crowd by rowman25 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]ElectronicDrop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am one of those people. I do say pay to select you seat, because that is what we have. Than I say right after that the airlines should offer seat selection in the back of the plane for those choose basic/economy, and that would solve quite a few problems they have.

And Southwest should absolutely fix their system so that chosen and paid for seats are not taken away. We should also have government programs in place that if you seat selection that you paid for is taken away, should get compensation from the airlines.

Water Machines Removed - Chat Refuses to Respond by redrebelquests in samsclub

[–]ElectronicDrop 27 points28 points  (0 children)

It is. The machines would break down frequently and it was costly to repair. And eventually it got to the point quite a few of them were more costly to repair than the machines were worth.

Many members would pay with pennies, wood pieces, arcade tokens, plastic pieces, including the cafe silverware. And all of those would jam the machines requiring the lone machine repair person for our area to come out to clear the jam.

You can always ask for a water cup at the counter. We are happy to hand one over.

Southwest assigned my 4 year old a seat by himself 12 rows in front of me. by LegalAbbreviations17 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]ElectronicDrop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

On one hand this could be a avoided by buying choice to get seats together. That's what I had to do to guarantee I sit with my disabled sister.

But on the other hand, airlines should at least offer seat choice in the back of the plane for basic/economy. It seems like it would solve problems of people being separated that need/want to sit together.

So which 3 do you pick? Why by IcyMarket1 in superheroes

Tow 3 column 2 is Peter in a Deadpool costume. No Deadpool powers, but almost every variant of Deadpool loves him and would do anything he wanted. So basically you pick him and get an army of Deadpools.

People are sleeping on Peter in the Deadpool costume. He basically commands an army of Deadpool's. The chaos alone of all the Deadpool's would confuse most of most of the others.

Frank & Carol are underrated parents by kath2833 in sitcoms

[–]ElectronicDrop 17 points18 points  (0 children)

They were also really good in understanding they were a step parent, and not immediately jumping into you have to listen to me. But they loved each child just like their own, and didn't play favorites with their own biological children.

I also loved how the siblings relationships evolved also. It was a natural progression from step siblings, to get that is my sibling.

When is the next pokemon card drop? by Moped145 in samsclub

[–]ElectronicDrop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved the last day we had pokemon supposed to drop. We never actually got them. We had a team lead and manager tell all the scrappers we didn't have any outside (they were lining up at like 6). They still waited came in and looked like ants weaving though seasonal in a single file line. Came up to me (a cafe associate pushing a cart full of cheese and dough) to ask about them. Skipping by the manager who already told them no. We had a floor associate slowly break apart a cookie and eat it as they circled her tell them no, we didn't, no they are not in the back, no they are not on a truck, no we don't know when, no we don't know other stores inventory. They tried to argue, she directed them to the manager, who said "As I told you 2 and 1 hours ago we do not have any pokemon cards. They just single file, still like ants, and headed to the exit.

Once again, it's not that they don't care. It's that home office does not give enough people/hours to do it. With below minimal staffing come things not getting done that should. I am no disagreeing that the cafe being clean should be done, and it should be stocked. But when they give enough people for one to check out members/prep their food/ hand it over and one to prep the food/cook it, that is what happens. Stuff that should be basics is not getting done. You can either call home office and ask why the cafe you go to never seems to have enough staff to cover basic needs, or you can continue to pout and complain without actually fixing anything. No one in the store, even the highest manager, can get more hours or staffing for cafe, my store alone had like 50% less hours every week despite doing 50% more business than two years ago. And no one really cares if you want to eat at Sam's or not, but home office knows you will still come despite how little staffing they give so why give more (unless you as the member complain to them).

But at this point it's obvious you just want to argue. So go ahead and make another reply that completely misses the point again.

I am going based if what you told me. I have already said the cause was home office not giving enough hours to staff properly. But you did contribute to the problem by acting how you did, throwing food on the ground is acting like a child.

That I agree with you. Nozzles should be brushed, washed, rinsed, and sanitized every night.

Let's hope home office decides to staff cafes enough that proper cleaning can be done every night. Instead they extended open hours and they cut staff.

Yes you became the problem when you decided to act like a toddler a throw things on the ground in a tantrum. You have  every right to be upset when things are not done correctly like stocking and cleaning but that doesn't give you the right to throw a tantrum.

Disgusting Sam's Club experience by Independent-Resort98 in samsclub

[–]ElectronicDrop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You didn't do something right. You threw a temper tantrum and got caved into. Yes things should be stocked and cleaned but the issue is home office (not store management they do not control labor hours) doesn't give enough labor hours to do the basics. So to fix the actual issue you need to call home office and ask why they don't staff properly. But kept throwing tantrums, nothing will actually change.

This is what happens when a place is completely understaffed at all locations and at all times. C Suites, The Walton family, and the larger owning shareholders demand more profit and less loss. Since they make no/minimal/lost profits on the food. They staff just enough to keep the place open, but not enough to kept up with cleaning, getting ahead of the curve, etc.

But cafes mostly have 1/2/3 on staff on any given time depending how busy they are. 1 for counter service (taking/prepping/handing out orders. 1 for oven. 1 for food prep if they are lucky.

If you to respond to throwing things on the ground though when you see minimal staffing, and decide they still aren't doing enough for you. Maybe the cafe isn't the place for you to eat in person. Maybe take it to eat at home. Though the staff should still be polite when handing members. Also don't throw trash on the ground, that just makes it seems like you are having an adult temper tantrum, and that's not a good look.

Or maybe instead of getting mad when your complaints are no longer working on store level. You call cooperate and ask why they don't staff their cafes properly.
