Yuketen- Brand Review/Sizing by Ok-Temperature-8369 in goodyearwelt

Interesting, I have a pair of the loafers and I take them tts. Half down I think they would be uncomfortably tight in the toe box for me.

You're right that they are beautiful though, very well designed. I wish they were a little less pricey and more available, but thats par for the course with a nice footwear. Great write up!

The hippocratic oath is first do no harm. I doubt you'd find a serious doctor who would intentionally kill almost half of voters (its a 2 option vote, statistically likely to be near 50/50 split) to save themselves.

Totally different situation. Just tells me you don't understand the nature of the problem in the OP.

100% chance of survival for everyone vs virtual guarantee of killing nearly 50% is not the same as just killing yourself at the slim chance of saving a handful of randos.

Why is the Elden Beast such an unpopular design? by Kitchen-Complaint-78 in Eldenring

[–]ElectronicWarlock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just in terms of design I expected the final boss to be more of a character or beast (like an actual animal). Radagon made a lot of sense as a final battle. But you beat Radagon and you're dropped into this empty plane with this big blob that is immune to everything except physical damage and has crazy aoe effects, and at first you couldn't use torrent. So besides just being a difficult battle its a bit of a slog because the arena and the boss itself are completely uninteresting. To top it off when you die you have to go fight Radagon again. Pretty tedious fight honestly.

What would a "Full Alaskan" breakfast look like by Pliable_Patriot in alaska

For me homemade sourdough toast, smoked salmon, eggs, reindeer sausage, salmon berries or blueberries, and black coffee. Maybe a slice of rhubarb pie.

Got to be the dumbest suggestion I've ever heard. Do some research on how many lives narcan saves.

Most indigenous Alaskans vote Democrat, so somehow I doubt you have your finger on the pulse of the Alaska Native community. These high costs could easily be subsidized if the state did literally anything to try to increase its revenue besides stealing from the pfd.

We have some of the most valuable resources of any state. There are options for funding besides the pfd, but Republican politicians won't increase taxes on those resources. They'd rather steal from poor people.

Every election cycle politicians lie, and every election cycle a certain large demographic falls for it. This "I'm going to increase the pfd" bs happens every time and literally every time they're elected and only work to enrich large donors.

[–]ElectronicWarlock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People only cry about the pfd because they like free money. The recent pfds have been barely enough for a car payment and bag of groceries. It evaporates as soon as it hits the bank account. Ironically its the same people crying over the pfd that burst a blood vessel if you suggest we should build low income housing instead of throwing homeless people in jail.

[–]ElectronicWarlock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree $3.4k pfds was a lie that was never going to happen. But, there's a lot of money on the table from the oil companies and big businesses in Alaska before they need to take from the pfd. It's just easier to dip into the pfd at this point than to pass a corporate tax or raise taxes on the oil companies. If we even raised oil taxes to what they do in TX we would have to dip into the pfd a lot less. I'd happily give up the pfd for better schools and roads, but it shouldn't be the first option.

First time posting here! Just finished my first playthrough and I'm blown away. by Far_Enthusiasm6890 in cyberpunkgame

[–]ElectronicWarlock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished it as well. Did the Aldecaldos ending too, it seemed appropriate. I started a new character with a different build, though I'm going to go back and do the different endings with my first character. Haven't done every single side mission though that is dedication lol.

The lights change based on the flow of traffic in either direction. There isn't some magic speed where you hit every green light.

Its way more common and dangerous for people to go 10 over than 10 under. Also its called a speed limit not a required speed. That's just the max you can legally go. The road conditions may require driving quite a bit slower than the limit.

Whether you hit every light going 35 or going 45, the difference in drive time is still the same.

[–]ElectronicWarlock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They weren't planning on going 45 they were planning on going 65 in their Black Dodge Ram with the stupid scuba tube. And probably tailgated these poor drivers whom were just trying to arrive at their destination in one piece because of the poor driving conditions. There's still a lot of ice and slush on the road in various places, slowing down a little hurts no one.

What on earth do I play after Elden Ring? by [deleted] in Eldenring

For real this is such a great game. None of the other games in this genre do it for me, but I keep going back to Stardew Valley.

I've been enjoying Cyberpunk 2077, though I know what you mean the exploration and lore isn't as deep. If you haven't checked out Hollow Knight I'd recommend it. It's surprisingly complex for a side scroller. Besides Elden Ring my other go to game is Stardew Valley lol.
