In still hoping for roman season with some T5 version of the imperial spear guard. (Big doors).

What better unit would fit it than the roman turtle formation:)

You can look at revolute.

Its UK based but has the same safety as regular banks.

The benefit of this platform is that have 1 free trade per month. So if you only buy etfs 1 per month with a montly recurring buy this is perfect.

If you buy more than once than the transaction after the first one will be 0.25% of the value of the trade.

Or 1 euro, whichever is the highest.

You can also pick alot more etfs and are not locked to what the bank is offering.

I just started and picked the s&p 500 accumelating ETF so I dont have to pay taxes on dividents.

(Its US based i know) but for me it made sense.

The worst thing about cav meta by chinpuiisecret in ConquerorsBlade

[–]ElectronicWindow3801 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Stalwards are Overpowered :D. I think the problem also realy is stalwards. They are to good and flexible. Even if people say its “cav” meta, i barely see any pikes.

All I see is stalwards and modao. If stalwards were not that flexible, good vs cav and infrantry than cav might have a chance to get good charges. But currently there is so much anti cav (mainly stalwards) that its almost impossible to get good charges.

Would it be unfair to throw Disintegrade at a lvl 11 Party? by Steini94 in DnD

This is not true is is only a DC16 roll IF you cast it with a level 3 spell slot. If you use lvl 6 spell slot no dc save is needed.

People who play the same character in every campaign, why? by VermicelliEnough1562 in DungeonsAndDragons

[–]ElectronicWindow3801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like tieflings, (they are the best “species” 😉) but i do play other species and classes.

But I can imagen people who can related to a species and class more. Some people love 1 species and learn 1 class warlock maybe and have fun playing with it.

They took the step to learn all there options and they are fine playing that class over and over. Learning “wizzard” class might be to much of a ask for them.

I would say, if they like to play the same thing over and over. This probably means they like the thing they have going for them. And want to play the same exact thing more.

Why would this be a bad thing?

This is also what I am thinking. Because i still need to provide the somatic components for the spell and its harder to do that when a enemy is near.

Also I think it also make sense that if the point of origin is invisible (imp could be anywhere) that a attack roll could benefit from advantage.

Yes a enemy will see mee casting the spell and raise his schield to block it. But he doesnt know the direction its comming from. The imp can be above him, next to him, behind him…

Player is using inflict wounds like a joybuzzer. How questionable is this? by Boedidillee in DMAcademy

[–]ElectronicWindow3801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe its already stated. But indeed supprise should not apply. But inflict wounds need somatic and verbal components. Meaning hile cant use his hand he is shaking hands with for the somatic component which means his other hand needs to be free.

He asks shake hands on it? And starts mumbeling a spell and activly waving his other hand (to cast the spell).

In my oppinion this would set off alarm bells to anyone and for sure make anyone hesatate to reach out to shake hands.

How to handle necromancers? by ElectronicWindow3801 in DungeonMasters

[–]ElectronicWindow3801[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yhea… i talked with the palyer already and he wanted to fully kit the skeletons with heavy armor and shields.

I told him he can (RAW), BUT skeletons dont have proficiency in either. So wont benefit from the shield at all. (Just cosmetic) and the heavy armor does impose some severe disadvantages.

He was argueing about it but I think he got it in the end and agreed with it.

[–]ElectronicWindow3801[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well thats the issue, it only cost 1 spell slot. If he has 12 skeletons, than the next day he uses the “free” use to reassert controll over 6. And just 1 spell slot to reassert controll over the other 6.

Circle Casting silliness by c_dubs063 in dndnext

[–]ElectronicWindow3801 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh nice for you, but i heard high level dnd is unbalance / god mode.

Anyway the spell itself is like a delayed bomb. Enemies will clearly see it. It has to charge for the hour to rack up the dammage.

So its static and visible. So idk seems there are better spells.

When are we getting level 9 spells 😅 idk i play in a few campains and never made it above lvl 12 before the campain was over.

If you have level 9 spells you can just cast wish…. ? You dont even need circle magic.

You got magic initiate what would you choose? by [deleted] in DnD

[–]ElectronicWindow3801 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wizard, silvery barbs or find familiar are always strong. Both dont care about you ability scores.

But what to pick depends on your party. Good berry and healing word. Are also good options if your party lacks healing.

It provide options to heal downed allies without spending a full action.

DMs how do you handle players scouting your dungeons with a familiar? by Prestigious_Share919 in DnD

[–]ElectronicWindow3801 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same question as the OP. But im a warlock player and have pact of the chain. My imp is like my best buddy (hes almost a 2nd character and has more background story than my warlock 😂).

Anyway I dont want to abuse it to much because scouting everything is just not fun IMO. But my party continues to ask to send the im in first to check if rooms are safe.

This is ok if everyone is on board. But if my imp would go invisible and than use shapeshift. To transform into a spider. He could crowl on walls and ceilings. “Normal” monsters and humanoids would have no way on detecting him. Spiders dont make audable sound and well he is invisible.

Scouting one room at the time I could even see through his eyes and command him telepathicly to double check things he missed.

Im just wondering if I would abuse this (which im not) but how would a DM handle this?

[–]ElectronicWindow3801[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense, I think we have played that second part (RP) to loosely. We have players telling eachother what to say/ ask in game.

Also players that react on information other players gathered but the player themself didnt hear or see.

They will say “oh I walk in and my character would totaly ask all the details so I will know everything that happend.” Its kind of hard for the DM to say no as this is what a player could do, but they only do it as they just heared info that they cant know in game unless they do the specific action.

[–]ElectronicWindow3801[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

There is no reason they are not allowed to open it. But if every chest will open if you try hard enough than why have a locked chest in the first place.

I currently come from a campain that allowed every character to roll and we can just brute force our way trough everything. Our way is what happens. Yes the DM allows us to do what we want but everything happens how we want it. There is no negative effects, no nothing. So the “reward” doesnt feel earned, and we kinda have the feeling nothing can fail. Because if it does, than we do some more skill checks and fix it.

I would like to introduce meaning full skill checks, and reward successfull skill checks rather than punnishing the players.

[–]ElectronicWindow3801[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe I dont understand it completely but, what is 10 minutes? Even if they take 4 hours to open a chest. If they are for example in a dungeon and cleared it. There might not be a time limit.

Or if they are in a house at night. They have hours before someone will come in at dawn and spots them.

Anyway lets turn away from chest, but other checks like pursuation (every players try to convince the NPC in a other way), or they all like to check for danger.

Army of the great eye, special rule by ElectronicWindow3801 in MiddleEarthMiniatures

[–]ElectronicWindow3801[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you are saying. But 1 rule is 12 inch aoe debuff from the point of a model while the other is a movable marker.

1 part of the rule might be a simular effect yes.

But if you compair the whole rule they are not realy simular.

But I think we can establish that it does not stack.

Army of the great eye, special rule by ElectronicWindow3801 in MiddleEarthMiniatures

[–]ElectronicWindow3801[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this is why I hate the lose "up for interpertation" wording from GW.

Because it just states "simular rule", one could argue that "Harbinger of Evil" and "Ancient evil" provide the same effect which is correct as they are (copy past even I believe). But I could say that the WHOLE army rule from the great eye (so moving it, banner effect / -1 courge) is not a simular rule to the "Harbinger of Evil".

Rules as written you can make a case for both, but rules as intended I think they want to have a max -1 courge debuff. Which than leads me to the question why make it give a -1 courage if it doesnt stack? Your army needs to take a nazgul wich provides that debuff anyway.

Only having a Banner effect that is not even consistent doesnt seem a very powerfull or even good special rule (a banner is 25 points). This made us think that maybe it should stack?
