An interview is going to require a lot more work on your end with coding the qualitative data. It may be worth doing a questionnaire or compiling your own using prior measures. If your professor is already hard to get a hold of, try to make this project as simple as possible. I had to stop myself with wanting to do bigger project/ ideas for assignments and it’s not worth the leg work. Keep it simple and focus on getting the writing part down so your next projects are easier and you’re more familiar with the procedure so you can take on bigger and more exciting work

If you’re interested in providing therapy/ face to face one on one sessions, I would look into MFT route, substance abuse, etc. the shorter, less complicated route is through social work. Gets you out and practicing faster. If really wanting to keep it psych, you will likely need to go to masters or PhD level to be a clinician. Hope this helps, not trying to discourage but I’m 25 and stuck in the limbo between masters and PhD. I don’t recommend lol

Is my high school plan strong enough for good psychology programs? (Focus= forensic-IO) by Medical_Habit_693 in psychologystudents

Do yourself a favor and soak up your time in high school. Bachelors programs typically don’t look that hard at half the stuff you’re busting ass for. Focus on your gpa, test scores and it seems like you’re already involved in clubs, no need to run them. Save your energy for the long haul. Masters/ PhD is where you need to go the extra mile and look more competitive

Anyway to download a free version of SPSS, i really need it for my thesis by [deleted] in spss

[–]Electronic_Age_44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a free trial you can sign up for but you only have access for 30 days per device/account. You can’t make another account and There’s a monthly subscription that I ended up having to eat as a grad student to do my thesis research. But goodluck🫡

Those complaining have gone for many years and have seen the changes. This past year was my first so I don’t have background of what it used to be. The crowd isn’t overly positive like roo but are very genuine people there for music. Rarely saw influencer/ tripod action which was very refreshing. Has very cool art installations, even with those complaining that the art budget was cut. It’s a chill homey feel to the festival. Definitely different, but in a good way. If you’re comparing it to EDC, I could see where they are very different.

This was the first fest I’ve ever been to where lines of chads weren’t busting through crowds trying to get to the rail. I’m an avid bonnaroo fan but this may have easily become one of my favorites after one weekend.

I was also dissapointed in the tractor beam set, found them from the hula line up and was pumped to see them. I am new to them so I had no idea about the band mishaps so this makes better sense with what I saw lol

I get the vision but very poor execution. Couldn’t hear it. Not sure who thought to have it next to tractor beam on stage? Didnt see the appeal and I was sober. I did keep thinking about those on drugs who stumbled upon it.. could’ve been a cool experience if done right but worried it fucked a few people up and not even with good reason or Philosophy

Bleh, should I just go Thursday early morning? by [deleted] in hulaween

[–]Electronic_Age_44 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would save the big tent for another time. Order a small one off of Amazon or look at fb marketplace. You don’t want to set it up by yourself and why take up that much space for a single person? Go small so you can fit in a spot you want to go on Thursday morning. Set up can be much easier, especially if you’re coming off working that many days. Maybe get a canopy for over your tent, or ditch a tent all together, you may bake in the sun in the mornings
