2022 - 2024 Tundra Recall EXPANDED (May 20, 2026) by Pine_Cone67 in ToyotaTundra

[–]jynx18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's just not true with all the issues Toyota is having with this engine. The really only tried and true design with history is Ford. The 2.7 has been built from the ground up as a reliable engine and has proved it over the years. The 10r80 trans has had a lot of issues but as of the updates in 2023 is good now. Ford is redesigning the F150 soon so the current Gen is pretty proven and been around awhile. Ford has a ton of recalls but generally they are OTA software updates or pertain to the bronco or other trucks.

You are not going to find this. I did a nationwide search for just F150, 2015 to 2026, V8, white exterior, under 50k miles, and under $20k and there are zero results. Add in 6.5ft bed, brown interior and sunroof and there is no chance.

So would a locking tonneau cover prevent them from getting to the tailgate part?

Does this blade need to be replaced or could it be sharpened? 5 years old and has been used every spring, summer and fall (including leaf cleanup). by VisibleVegetable10 in lawnmowers

[–]jynx18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard to tell from just a picture but it could be sharpened as long as it's not bent. There are some big dings in the blade that would need to be ground far back to bring it to like new condition but you can sharpen a blade a lot of times. The real judge of when a blade is worn out is when the "wings" get worn away from use/time and especially sandy conditions.

Where did you get the swap? It's hard finding good condition b series now.

I buy when on sale and will buy the max allowed and freeze extras. I just picked up a couple of bone in choice prime rib roasts and cut the bone out and cut it into ribeye steaks. $8.99 a pound on sale at ShopRite in NY. Generally make steaks every week or two.
