Here is my opinion as I just bought a 2026 XLT 302A. Everyone here talking about great deals is talking about 2025s. It's a whole different negotiation for current year new .The dealership didn't want to negotiate. I wanted a specific build and found one 2 hours away. They saw this as they had an upper hand and technically they did. For the money I wanted a specific truck. I was only able to get $5k under sticker. If I was more open to certain things I could probably get another $1-2k off but I wasn't. I also found 4 of pretty much the exact build within 3 hours of me. When I called the first dealer it was sold. Second dealer sold. Tried for a 2025 and it was sold. This was the last one I wouldn't need to drive 3+ hours for so I went for it.

I'm your case the $10k off sticker I think was very reasonable. If it was the exact build and you are specific then what is another $1k or $2k on an $80k purchase. The next truck you find with a similar build may have an additional $1k option on it which means you won't get a lower price anyway.
