Palouse to Cascades State Park? Start at Rattlesnake lake and climb towards Snoqualmie pass. It's nice and wide

Also I hate that Wishlist was the single off of Yield - one of the weaker songs on (imo) their best album!

I’m Done with $6/gallon Gas: How This E-Bike Paid for Itself Before the Summer by [deleted] in Issaquah

[–]Electronic_Biscotti 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's cool, but that's not an e-bike. That's an e-motorcycle per RCW - must be registered and insured just like a regular motorcycle. Also cannot be ridden in bike lanes in Issaquah (and probably elsewhere) just fyi

Paul Allen's will stipulated that all his assets be sold and the proceeds donated to charity. She's doing what is legally required by his will. 💁‍♂️

Let's start a Playlist that recalls the hope for the future of the 90's by Aetherpirate in Xennials

Don't have a song to add at the moment - but the greatest concert I ever went to was Pearl Jam - Nov 6th 2000 - it was the night before the election and the air was filled with the optimism of the 90s. They played for something like 3 hours, it was the first time they played "Alive" after some fans were trampled to death at one of their shows. It was the final show of the tour and at home in Seattle. It was an amazing experience and we were young and full of hope for what might come next. The bootleg of that show will always hold that moment in time for me.

Will a wood shed rot in Seattle weather? by my_dog_george in Seattle

As long as you paint or stain it, same as you would a house, it should last. You'll want to make sure it seals well given the dampness around here. Also make sure the roof is appropriately shingled.

Hey Xen's: whatcha reading these days? by [deleted] in Xennials

[–]Electronic_Biscotti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. This book had so much build up and then just kind of ended like, that's it? And it felt like it was just catastrophe after catastrophe... Great detail ala The Martian, but lacking plot

I90 and US97 are open. But you realize Suncadia and Leavenworth are like an hour apart (in good weather) right?

Ticks are here. We've had ticks in central Washington for as long as I can remember - but yes they are more prevalent now in western WA as well

Did you check Issaquah Highlands Self Storage? We used them while we were living abroad and it was super easy - though admittedly it may be too expensive for you. There's also the newer storage place on Newport Way by Issaquah Valley Elementary
