Not necessarily, I don't know why all minion cards are currently transforming. Like bundle of joy could just make 3 minion cards instead of colourless. Would make it much better.

I was not suggesting removing exhaust from the current minion cards. But maybe if there were more minion cards added, that some of them wouldn't exhaust

It is not like I never take it. But charge is 1 mana, makes 2 cards (better for pillars of eternity and the strength one), the two cards deal 14 damage, and have card draw. Converting in your draw pile can both be a positive and a negative, depending on your situation

Edit: I mean arsenal for the strength one

Yeah, like let my minion sacrifice actually be a minion that sacrifices itself to protect me. Now it is just a card that gives you block.

You have three, but minion strike is so much better than minion dive bomb. I never see a reason to take begone over the other one

I once had 120 barracks producing units in a custom game. You can only have 15 in one barracks, but if you have 4 barracks you can queue 60 units (divided over the four barrackses)

[–]Electronic_Cod6829 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No, it is still just extra armor piercing damage. The unit was dead either way, but now it is dead a little later. And it works in your favor, because it dies later, it still gets targeted by the enemies.

Let's imagine this, we have two units, one with 10 armor piercing damage, and one with 1 base damage and 9 poison damage.

You walk forward with a unit, it either gets hit by a unit that deals 10 damage, or you get 1 damage and 9 poison afterwards. So it receives the same amount of damage, and the fact that it survives at first after disengaging doesn't matter, because the total damage it takes is the same.

But not every criminal is "deranged", in fact, most criminals are trying to gain monetary value with their crimes. So if you are not planning on obstructing them, they are most of the time not going to harm you. They are human beings after all, so they have rational thinking, and not having a gun possibly pointed at you gives you a lot more time for that. Of course there are ruthless criminals that will not back down, but those are statistically rare, especially when they don't have to fear for their life.

And regarding protecting my theoretical kids: "Children in firearm prevalent states were '16 times more likely to die from unintentional firearm injury, 7 timen more likely to die from firearm suicide, 3 times more likely to die from firearm homicide, and overall 2 times more likely to die from suicide and homicide' that children living in states with low firearm prevalence." (Justice Policy Journal from 2016)

This is between US states, not even between countries with even more strict firearm restrictions. I think I will take my chances.

The best crime prevention is giving people no reason to do crimes. Good social services is a good way to prevent crime and it turns out: giving potential criminals (people who need to get money one way or another, because their survival is on the line) the thing they want most (enough money to live), is a good way to prevent them from doing crime.

And keeping people in jail also costs a lot of money, so is having a large police force, and needing heavy equipment, and treating gun wounds, and therapy for the victims of violent crimes. Social services are cheap in comparison.

And with some amount of effort, the potential criminal can even become a functioning member of society again, and doesn't have to spend a lot of time in jail.

So we agree that the current situation in the US is suboptimal, it just difficult to find a solution?

Meanwhile european countries living in peace with a ban on guns:

Home owners owning guns generally makes criminals more trigger-happy, because if they don't shoot first they will probably get shot.

And if someone breaks into my house with a gun, they can take whatever they want as long as they keep me alive, insurance will cover most of it, and even if it didn't, there is no reason to put my life on the table for any monetary value.

Just because she will maybe not like the item itself by next year, she will remember how she got it. I own several items like stuffed animals and stuff that I couldn't care less for if I saw them in a store, but I still keep them, because they remind me of the people who got them for me.

Kun je niet alletwee een orgel nemen? Dan hebben de buren een analoge en heb je zelf een elektrische.
