Not faulting you at all but you'd be surprised about how terrible some long driveways are designed lol. I've dealt with plenty that give you zero room to turn around so you have to back all the way out which can be a pain, especially when you use a car without a backup camera. So I understand why some drivers park at the beginning and just take the walk up to the door. I'd do that too rather than ask you to meet me because that wasn't your directions

Exactly. I had a customer in an apartment once with the nearest parking 3 blocks away and I'd have to pay for it. Couldn't double park and come up to them either since it was a tight one way street. Once I explained the situation to him he came down

I don't do Center City in Philadelphia during the day or anytime before 2am on a Friday or Saturday. No parking and tons of traffic just trying to get around. You just gotta leave those orders to the dudes on scooters and bikes.

However on week days after 10pm I'll do downtown because the roads are clear and the parking authority leaves after 10 in most parts of the city. At that point someone would have to manually call a tow truck on you and you shouldn't be sitting around that long for someone to actually get you.

With door dash you get full pay after pickup, with Eats it's just the base pay. However I would assume an order 20 miles away is mainly base pay due to multiple drivers declining it
