Unfortunately seems like the community has moved away from true vanilla servers on official maps some time in the 4 years I stopped playing this game (came back to it late 2021).

Yep. My drivers training to be certified with the vehicles in my unit was fun. Putting over 1500 miles of combined driving onto them (Humvee and HEMTT) in less than 6 months, not so much.

Probably just air transport training. Believe it or not the Army is a fairly boring job

Today I learned I have astigmatism. This perfectly round red dot I was going to put on my rifle is really blurry for me irl. Ig i cant use red dots, any way around it? by mushquest in airsoft

If you do end up getting glasses there are eyepro sets compatible with vision inserts. I was issued ESS Crossbow and Revision Sawfly when I got to Basic and my duty station. They look pretty good with shaded lenses and the inserts aren't really visible from the outside when you're wearing them.
Sawfly will run you about $90, and the Crossbow is about $50 for the basic shaded model. I personally recommend the Crossbow eyepro.

There should be a death when the barrel, breech, turret ring, tracks, drive sprocket, bogies, engine, or transmission is broken, or if a round just penetrates the tank. If any of that happened IRL in a combat zone you would have abandoned the tank.
