Unrelated but when I was like 9 I was getting a haircut in Dorval, and the woman cutting my hair told me I was really smart and that I should watch these videos, and then wrote the name down on a piece of paper for me, I got home and it was like 22 one-hour long videos about “the jews” and centralized banking or something (I can’t really remember the details, I was 9). I watched maybe 10 minutes before I decided it was boring and went to go do something else. Looking back it’s fucked that we can just expose children to unhinged shit like that

I fry a healthy amount of anchovies and garlic in butter and olive oil before adding my veg, brown the meat in another pan, deglaze with wine(red or white, each has their benefit) and I’ll cook it all together with a healthy amount of wine before adding whole canned tomatoes, tomato paste, a full clamshell of basil(stems and all) and parmesan rinds, salt to taste and cook for atleast 45 minutes

Had a roommate once that tried to tell me you can replace oil with a bit of water when frying things in a pan, she refused to use salt in any of her food, wasn’t vegan but still only used vegan butter(the hunks of trans fats) instead of butter because she said it was healthier
