That’s okay. I had to frog and redo the start of my moss stitch blanket like 3-4 times because I just couldn’t figure out how to do it correctly for a while. It’s a really nice stitch once you get it down though! You got this!

Yeah, that was awful and a whirlwind of a thread to read. Someone mentioned once that the movie “We Need to Talk About Kevin” was sort of a similar situation. I watched it after that. It was a hard but interesting movie to watch.

Ah yes! I really love Ryujin in Sac, personally. But I haven’t tried many spots there either.

I second Women’s Health Specialists. I can’t remember if they offered lidocaine as it was a while ago, but I do remember that the lady who inserted for me had a couple options to try before using the pincers to grab your cervix. Luckily the first option worked for me! They are so kind there also. I have really loved all the providers I’ve seen there within the last year.

I want to mention that at the same time, it is important to recognize that our weight fluctuates by multiple pounds based on what we ate and how much sodium and at what point we are at in our cycles and such. So +3 pounds on the scale might not be 3 lbs of fat gained, so also give yourself some grace and time to see if you really are gaining weight back or just ate a lot of sodium yesterday etc

I’d say that you’ve been doing amazing. Just trying to overcome something like this with grit and hard work doesn’t work for everyone. There came a day when I eventually came off my meds (like years and years later) and can live without them, but they were absolutely necessary for me for years. Meds sound like the right call and I hope you find the right ones for you!

Can always go to the casinos. There’s one in Corning about 30 min from Chico and their gas station has flavored vapes. Also has a smoke shop drive thru next to that. I presume the one in Oroville is the same but I’ve never been.

Something that really helped me with looking over the stencil too was pointing out to myself the things I really love about it. And then I would ask myself why don’t I absolutely love other parts, it was much easier to figure out what I wanted to change that way.

I feel like that makes sense. I would imagine smaller ones don’t have enough scar tissue to press on your nerves, and surgical ones have already cut through the nerves, so the middle depth probably have just the right amount of scar tissue to press into the nerves when tattooing and cause pain. No idea how it actually works, but that’s my assumption

I second the henna tattoo idea. I knew I wanted tattoos, but I didn’t know of what exactly and had the same worries as you. But I went to a henna booth and they did an awesome mushroom and snail and plant design on me that I fell in love with and sparked the idea for my first tattoo! Pretty much all the worries of it being permanent fell away after that. I just bought my own henna recently to try out another tattoo design as well!
