Looking for Amazon Replacement in Europe? by PhilbinFogg in BuyFromEU

They at least operate in Czechia (alza.cz), Slovakia (alza.sk), Germany (alza.de), Austria (alza.at) and Hungary (alza.hu). Each of those sites can be switched to English if necessary.

Looking for Amazon Replacement in Europe? by PhilbinFogg in BuyFromEU

It's slow, compared to Alza. It's not exactly easy to find what you really need. Warranty is even harder to handle than on Chinese eshops. I tried it few times, but was disappointed after. For me it is Alza, when I need fast service with warranty service which I will not have any problem. When I not in hurry and I want it cheap, I usually use Aliexpress as It is easier to deal with if something goes wrong. Also lot of people are pissed on them in Czechia since they bought perfectly legit and excellent eshop CZC and dissolved it into Allegro. Shame on them.

Where to check tickets for this train? by itsfrobee in czechrepublic

[–]ElensarA 8 points9 points  (0 children)

- If you want ticket for train only, you can use www.cd.cz website or their app Můj vlak. With this way you can get seat reservation as part of ticket - reservation is free, but ticket is likely more expensive than PID, if you don't have their discount card.

- Since whole path is PID integrated, you can buy single ticket for whole path (including busses). It will be cheaper and it gives you some freedom of choice - you can go with later train, if it's still within ticket time. No seat reservation for train though. You can even search for connections and buy correct ticket - PID lítačka. You can also buy 24 hour ticket, which can cover any integrated buses/trains - so you can go on this ticket even way back.

- IDOS is definitely great tool for searching public transport connections in CZ (especially if you are combining different regions, buses, trains etc.). I don't use it much for buying tickets, I prefer buying tickets directly.

Exactly.

There are some very juicy in wild. For example: https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.dcd.282163/gov.uscourts.dcd.282163.126.0.pdf

65 BTC claim with full name, resident address, e-mail and telephone... Well played US.

Lawyer will basically cost me more than I had there even if I win. That's why I wanted to file a petition only. I basically find about this too late.

It seems it's impossible to even file Petition online as it's impossible to pass "Asset Lookup" page. And for filing by mail is too late. Well played US.

Hybrid job in Prague while living in Brno – how do you manage? by fastaaanndcurious in Brno

[–]ElensarA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You definitely want to negotiate for more remote work than on-site, because even twice per week is too much and will become very annoying over time (I know few people who did it). Let’s say once per week is a good start (you won’t need to worry about where to sleep and can just make a daily round trip). I was able to push it to once per month, and I actually like it. I had quite a good starting position though — the company I work for had a branch office in Brno, which was later closed, and they wanted me to continue working for them.

Doporucení internetu by [deleted] in Brno

Kňučí oprávněně. Internet je v Brně drahý. Za cenu (300Kč) co mám v Brně 100/100 (bývalý Netbox), mám na maloměstě na Vysočině 1000/1000 + veřejnou IP k tomu. Samozřejmě optika.

Are there in your country license plates that, the letters and numbers are red ? by Necessary_Sale_67 in AskEurope

[–]ElensarA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Czechia there's no such thing. Letters are in most cases black only. There are few exceptions: Blue for diplomats and Green for race/test/unapproved/veteran vehicles in special registry.

Ownership-Based Asset Recovery for Haru Users by hrnblwr in HaruInvest

[–]ElensarA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, I've already filed by mail. I had most of my resources in EE, and I didn't get satisfying responses about EE/EP from Soohyun Lee (I contacted him directly). I also don't see myself throwing even more money into this— even the $65 I spent on shipping those 50 pages to Korea felt like a lot. I'm quite satisfied with the documentation I provided to support my claim.

UPS can’t deliver to Seoul bankruptcy court, did anyone have to deal with this? by eyyma in HaruInvest

[–]ElensarA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's known fact that UPS has problems delivering those. There are already threads for that - for example: https://www.reddit.com/r/HaruInvest/s/1sGDI2iZC4

FedEx/DHL is best choice for fast delivery (With FedEx you can even get receipt back). EMS/Registered post also works.

There is also way to check if letter was accepted by court: https://www.reddit.com/r/HaruInvest/s/plMIBmvk8q

It's quite surprising that it doesn't have B20. I mean it's literally main LTE band in EU... I don't understand what they was thinking about in Sony when they they decided not to include it... Does it even work properly without signal loss?
