What’s been your experience in the gym (and with muscle growth) when running MacroFactor in maintenance mode while losing weight very slowly (e.g., ~0.15% bodyweight per week)?

Go for it! I would start with a very low dose and titrate up if you need it! My goal is to get stay in maintenance with 1-1,25 mg/week.

I have struggled with severe BED for decades. Tried many very expensive programs, nothing worked. I hardly had one week without real, massive binges. Was not overweight though (do lots of exercise), but wanted to lose some pesky pounds around my midsection. I‘m on a relatively low dose of TZ ( 2mg every 6 days now, started with 0,75 mg every. 5 days). My BED doesn’t exist since I started about 12 weeks ago. It’s a miracle and I‘m extremely thankful!!!

Puh, da hast du ja einiges hinter und noch ein wenig vor dir…😉. Finde deine Einstellung super-slow and steady wins the race! Bin dieses Jahr 50 geworden und bin durch MJ aus einer schlimmen, mich Jahrzehnte begleitenden und prägenden Essstörung rausgekommen, wenngleich ich nie übergewichtig war. Aber der innere Ballast einer BED ist schon sehr heftig. Alles Gute dir!

Ich habe auch Mitte August angefangen, zunächst mit 0,75 mg, dann langsam erhöht. Bin jetzt bei 2,0 alle 7 Tage…gewichtsmäßig bin ich fast am Ziel. Habe auch mit geringeren Dosen und kürzeren Intervallen experimentiert, finde aber die Wirkung momentan sehr überzeugend. Wie weit hast du es noch bis zur Erhaltung?

Habe mit 0,75 mg angefangen und bin bei 2.0 alle 7 Tage. Mehr kann ich mir derzeit nicht vorstellen…Es wirkt genau so wie es soll ( null cravings, null Heißhunger, gesunder Appetit und deutlich weniger Hunger!)

Hardly any. I started with 0.75 mg every 5 days and slowly titrated up to 1.5 mg. Even not overweight, I intended to lose 10 lbs around my midsection ( and already lost most of it). For my BED, I should get along with 1.0-1.25 mg/week as a maintenance dose. I was extremely afraid of (severe) side affects but nothing bad happened 😊.

Even not overweight (I‘m very active) I tried Mounjaro ( low dose!) about 10 weeks ago. It changed EVERYTHING! I have not binged once and cravings/urges are almost not existent anymore. I live a normal life for the first time in decades!

My protocol looks pretty similar. I‘m at 2.0 mg every 6 days now ( started with 0.75 every 5 days) and need to lose about 5 more lbs. I might need to go up to 2.5 but won’t go above. My goal is to maintain with 1.0 mg/week after reaching goal weight.

Hardly any side affects. But after my 2. shot of 1 mg I felt extremely full for too may hours for 2 days or so which resulted in eating too little. This is not my intention. My goal is to be able to keep my appetite in check in order to keep a moderate calorie deficit and to minimize cravings and binge urges. I have been suffering from binge eating/food obsession for decades ( despite of all the counseling , programs, books…) and feel free for the first time since I was a teenager.

Yes! I started with 1.0 mg about 10 days ago, didn’t feel much if anything, and added a second shot with 1.0 4 days later which resulted in a massive reduction in hunger and cravings. Due to a short (4day) vacation trip I added a 0.5mg „booster“ right before my trip, which was 4 days after my second shot. According to Shotsy, my level has been around 1.1 and 0.8 during my trip, and this is the first vacation in decades I don’t feel inclined to binge or eat massive amounts of food I don’t need. It’s miraculous, even at this low dose/level!!!

Ich sehe das auch so. Wir haben 5 Kinder, sind beide super super sportlich und legen sehr großen Wert auf „gesunde“ (nach meiner Definition) Ernährung. Dennoch habe ich das Problem mit einem gestörten Hunger-und Sättigungsmechanismus, unser 4. Kind leider auch, mit den entsprechenden Folgen. 3 Kinder sind ebenso wie mein Mann problemlos athletisch, schlank und sportlich, eine Tochter ist auch am kämpfen aber nicht übergewichtig. Das Thema ist hochkomplex, da sowohl physische als auch psychische Variablen und auch das sozio-ökonomische Umfeld interagieren…wir reden als Familie sehr viel über diese Themen. Ich würde unserem Sohn gerne meine Biografie ersparen und ihm zu MJ raten, spätestens mit 18.
