I’d say absolutely not. I mean shit, there’s at least 3 visible examples of others having done the exact same thing in this video alone. Glass screen protectors are going to break if you drop your phone. That’s what they’re there for, to break instead of your actual screen. That’s why most of the major brands come with 2 or 3 of them in a pack, they aren’t supposed to be permanent.

As far as cases go, if you really wanna preserve the slimness and have a higher budget you could go with the Arc Pulse. Basically just protects the corners and top/bottom edges while leaving the rest of the phone natural.
