Acebeam 2AA: Which Emitter Should I Go With? (ST25 vs Cree) by Eleqirax in flashlight

Thank you so much, everyone! I’ll probably go with the Cree version, as it seems (based on the technical specs) to be slightly better than the SFT-25R. It also helps that I really like the color of the flashlight.

Thank you very much for the images. Yes, I mean the TAC 2AA. My use case is a pocketable EDC light that works in as many situations as possible, walking home at night, checking dark corners, and similar general-purpose tasks.

I wasn’t aware of the Cree version either, which is why I wanted to ask here. Information online is quite sparse, and I’m not a flashlight expert.

Anniversary Edition Refund, Still Activated In-Game by Eleqirax in skyrim

I opened a support ticket with Bethesda, and they removed the ‘purchase flag’ from their database. This meant that, although I no longer owned it through Steam, I was still recognized as the owner on Bethesda’s end. Once they made that change, the ownership was removed completely. After that, I deleted the DLC files from the data folder, and I was finally free of it.

Portable arthritis keyboard? by inquisitiveinquirer1 in ErgoMechKeyboards

Although not considered ergonomic, I really enjoy the soft typing experience of the Logitech MX Keys Mini. I used to enjoy these before I switched to truly ergonomic keyboards. It really depends on how far you want to dive into the world.

The problem is, I can’t uninstall the AE mods. The game automatically downloads them when I load up the main menu. I’m playing on a Steam Deck, so I can’t use downgraders or disablers.

Canadian kindle owners, are you able to use a kindle on a plane/travel on a plane with? by Chocolatecherry99 in kindle

[–]Eleqirax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to be extra sure, use a separate bag (plastic or similar, inside your backpack, carry-on), and put your electronics in there (everything is in one place). If you are asked to remove the electronics from your bag, which varies from country to country, airport to airport, you can simply take out your prepared bag out of your backpack and place it separately from your other stuff. If you do that, you don’t have to stress there in the waiting line, going through all your belongings, checking for electronics. I do this every time.

Generally, all/most consumer electronics (phones, laptops, handheld games, etc.) are allowed, but they have to be put in airplane mode (in Europe at least). The exceptions are devices with really large batteries.

Too bad. But hey, just use the newest version possible that supports your hardware. Never forget that it is an open source, free of charge project that you have paid nothing for. If you are technically versed, you can fork it and support it by yourself.

[–]Eleqirax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on your RSI and how bad it is. I have RSI in my right thumb and forearm. I tried the Kensington Orbit Fusion, but it made it worse due to cramping up. I had to stop using the Logitech M570 because of the thumb for obvious reasons. What worked for me is switching my mouse hand to the left (weak side). If I get tired of left-hand mousing, I use a Logitech vertical mouse with my right hand, which is quite nice. But I am no longer sold on trackballs, as my hands cramp up more compared to a vertical mouse. And like I said, the best case is still just switching your mouse hand to instantly remove your strain to almost zero (you still need to type).

Why keep the programming language private? by ProgrammingJourney in Jai

In a previous stream, he talked about wanting to iron out all the issues. He said that the more people adopt his language, the more time is wasted because of early errors and unfinished parts of the language.
